W.Y. INDUSTRIES200 Packets Chinese Yellow Mustard - SET OF 4

Love this mustard, but as some users have mentioned....it will change color and start to go funky before your average family/person could consume 200 packs. So my solution -- and it seems to be working so far -- was to separate into batches that I think I could use in a reasonable amount of time before it will go bad (for me, going through 10 every couple of weeks seemed like a safe bet). I put batches of 10 each into zip lock bags, froze them and now I just take out as I need. From what I have noticed so far, freezing does not harm the taste or consistency of the mustard. Now I can smother my take out egg rolls and entrees to my hearts content and I also love dipping deli ham & turkey as an easy lunch or snack on the go.

I love this mustard, and my attempts to replicate it have been unsuccessful. I’m just starting to create fried rice here at home, as it is so much less expensive than purchasing takeout. I contacted the company about shelf life, as i ordered the 200 packets. They said look at the expiration date, which my order was 2020. They said stored in a dark cool place. As i’m alone and may only use a small amount monthly, i may follow another suggesion here in the comments to package and freeze groups of 10 or so.Update: the 200 pkgs lasted just fine stored in pantry cabinet. I just ordered the 200 again.

I purchased this mustard about a year ago for my daughter's father who was looking for the mustard he got at our local chinese takeout restaurant. He showed me a packet, which led me to this mustard from W.Y.Industries which is the brand the restaurant uses. Well, a year later he asked me to order more for him because apparently he eats it on lots of things such as fried chicken and I don't really know what else. All I know is that he loves the stuff and I agree, it's very tasty. Saved me a bunch of time and money trying a bunch of different jarred chinese style mustards that may not be quite right when I could so easily come to Amazon and buy the exact one he had been looking for!

I LOVE hot mustard!! I can never get enough packets when I order from the take out place. I bought a jar from the grocery store but it was a flop. So I found these and these are soooo freaking good!! I like them better than the ones the take out places in the area use and now I also have as many packets as I want and I'm so excited!! Get these if you're in love with the hot mustard and never get enough or even if you want a good one in place of the watered down version your take out place uses!

This is the worst Chinese mustard I ever had! The bag inside the box was opened, 32 packets missing out of the 200. These are not the same ones you would get at the restaurants. Not spicy, it's grainy and taste weird.. It looks like some disgusting goo, like the toy slime that came out in the 90s for kids. Keep in mind the seller doesn't except returns for this item, no matter what the reason is. So beware.. This is your warning.

Delivered on time. Identical packages as you can find in Chinese restaurants, same brand, same taste. In the past I've had issues with other products whose expiration date would be a week or two from the day I've received the product. Not with this one. I've ordered a 200 packs and expiration on it is almost a year and a half from delivery date.I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

My local Asian cuisine went to another yellow mustard vendor (sucky, no flavor or heat)... These are SPOT ON, EXCELLENT... Flavor, heat, excellent condiment...... Have you ever made egg or potato salad using these... You'll thank me

The ingredients say water mustard starch blah blah. The starch I can see, because the stuff is like glue. The mustard, maybe, NOT like any hot mustard I have made from mustard powder or purchased ready-made or have had in a restaurant or take out. Hot? Not a bit. This is NOT hot mustard. This stuff is the worst mustard I have ever had. I haven't thrown it out because I'm too much of a cheap skate and so I bring the packets to work and suffer through them. I will never purchase this junk again.
