It is a great tool to help with shoulder pain and back pain too.

I am a shiatzu therapist, and i bought some massagers that were ok. this one is fantastic! an actual good massager! and you can use it on many different body locations. 5/5, very recommended

I really like this massager mainly due to 2 features.1. The massage heads are not just ball-shape heads. Each massage head has 4 "fingers", 2 large and 2 small. They mimic the shiatsu massage from a human hand. They hit the pressure points deep and hard like a shiatsu massage.2. The straps allow you to adjust the position of the massager and the pressure continuously with minimal effort.The massager is quite heavy which helps put pressure on your body from the massage heads/fingers. The weight helps provide a stronger massager with more pressure. You can pull on the straps or lean against a chair to apply more pressure easily.There are only 4 buttons: on/off, change massage head rotation direction, heat on/off, rotation speed (3 speeds).I love starting the massage from the top of the shoulder. The rotation of the massage heads would "climb" down your back along the spine gradually. You can use the straps to control the speed it moves down your back. The massager also pushes your back forward which helps stretch the back.I use it while sitting on a high back chair and I lean back while I use the massager. That way I can put more pressure on my back to get a stronger massage.When I turned on the heat, I can see the red light from the massage head. I can feel the heat a bit. It is not very strong.There are 2 adaptors including. One for 110v outlet and one car cigarette lighter adaptor.Overall, I love this massager because I think it does the best job in mimicking a shiatsu pressure point massage. Price is affordable. I highly recommend it.

I had a really tight neck with lots of muscle knots in my traps from sleeping on my side on a pillow that was soft and unsupportive. Night 1: This massager dug deep enough into the inflamed knots that I let out a yell or three. But after it was over, my neck was fully loose and the knots were not painful to the touch, as before. Night 2: I was over-zealous from my success on night 1, and used it for too long and caused more inflammation. I just kept running it for a new 'cycle', because I wanted to repeat my experience. Bad move on my part, but not the fault of the product.Pros- digs deep, reverses direction and has a pleasant soothing heat-element that helps offset the pain. You can move it up and down your neck, traps and shoulders (and even lower back, a little, depending on your shape). Heat function is better than my microwavable 'scarf'.Cons- I wish it had a heat only element. You aren't supposed to massage knots every day, and on the off-days, I need the heat function without flesh being 'dug into'.Even though this was a Vine product, I would have no problem paying full price. In fact, I will look for a variant with a heat-only option and hope it works as well.

This is the third one of these massagers that I have gotten. I absolutely love them. I have one, this is for my husband (so I don’t have to share anymore) and have previously purchased one for a gift. Everyone loves these…they are extremely powerful for their size, are easy to store, and have a long enough cord to use on the couch. The have certainly come in handy with Covid as a nice alternative to going to get a personal massage. My sister actually has a big expensive massage chair and while hers was packed up during a move, I got one of these for her and she absolutely loves it. She said it was as powerful as the neck massage portion of her expensive chair.

I like it, but its a bit wide spread to get my neck. I'm on the petite side at 5'2" so that might be part of it. It is great for shoulders, and back. It doesn't have any vibration to it, but the rotating nubs do seem to kneed, press, and squeeze like actual fingers. I would have preferred smaller more numerous nubs that are closer to midline, just to make it more effective and less painful on my neck.

I use this massager every night on my stomach. I know, not exactly it's intended use, but it works very well to relax my gut. I learned this from going through sessions of visceral manipulation.This massager has a heat setting that adds to my comfort. You can rotate the massagers direction, and it has three speed settings.The material used is comfortable against my skin and easy to hold in place. It also has a D/C adaptor so you can use this massager in your vehicle in road trips. I'm a happy fan of this product.
