The jelly(its not jelly...but..what is it idk) bit on the lid that keeps it air tight works really well and forms a very tight fit, the plastic is thick, the hinged snaps don't look to want to break any time soon. Very decent for the price if you need a small travel box. Wells are small but deep, you could just fill them and go without tubes if you're not working too large and aren't a huge paint hog, I imagine...I'm not completely sure bc I work too large and am a huge paint hog, but this isn't about my personal problems.

Christmas gift for granddaughter she loved it

It's neat tool for keeping paint separated and more easy to pack up and go. It does save on losing paint being dried out but I did find that couple of the latches broke. But if the pain isn't kept nice and neat it gets up top where the lid shuts causing it to not latch. Or I t eventually builds up causing it to be thicker than it should be and not latched properly, which will in turn break the latch. And if it's messy on the top it will be harder to open because it almost seals it shut but it's a great tool especially if you're on the go. I would like to know if they sell just the black tabs to lock it

The lid has a silicone insert, much like a gasket, which keeps paint from drying out and you can remove it to clean it. It also comes with a small plastic palette knife built-in, and has a holder that flips out.

From water colour to oil to pastel to acrylic this medium has generated the most compliments.

Exactly what I have been looking for specifically for traveling. Air tight will keep the liquid paint inside the wells. Right size I can use for both my 12 count sets of watercolor and gouache with blending on the sides.

I didnt have a ton of chance to use it, just a little bit. I really like it tho. It holds a decent amount of paint and it has a seal. I like it!
