Does it's job but not without issues
I got this to have on hand to protect new tattoos or be able to isolate issues and keep them protected (infections or irritations if they happened). This stuff is easy to use, and does protect the tattoo when applied against clothing. I like to use it for just the first couple days to protect my new work during the most likely time of issues and then remove it. After that I dry heal because a dry wound is a healing wound. I've been working on a full sleeve but find that if I try to use larger pieces I end up with weeping leakage. So, it's best to work with smaller pieces if you're trying to cover a large area. This may be different if the area is large but flat..like on a back or whatever. But it leaves a HORRIBLE adhesive residue when you take it off. I bought the "goo gone adhesive remover" off here and it did take it off, so if you want to buy this, you should also get that stuff. Do NOT try to remove this wrap without being in a warm shower or with the help of goo gone (which also helped to just remove the wrap little by little (by soaking the edges in the goo gone stuff) and gently rolling off. On a positive note, I have super sensitive skin when it comes to adhesives and latex and I haven't had any irritation or reaction from this protect with that. I would buy this product again, also just knowing I'd need the goo gone too. But, this is such a big roll, and the goo gone will last forever so I don't see needing more of either for some time.

Must have for a tattoo artist
Easy to use once you get the hang of it! Essentially a giant see-through plaster without any absorbing material. These 'second skin' products generally are far more convenient than the cellophane you get fresh tatts wrapped up in. If you get it wet or try to remove it not long after placing it, it does come off extremely easily. If you are planning on getting it submerged, I'd recommend putting it on well before and allowing the adhesive to settle and seal properly.I will compare to dermshield as I've used that previous! I kept this product on for about 24 hours before removing it. The very corners had begun to peel at that point, but this was after a whole day of work and having slept on it, not bad at all.The adhesive is strong, but not so much that it's overly difficult to remove. In fact, I found this was actually much easier to remove than the dermshield . There was a little bit of redness for a day or so, just on the edges and not painful. Using dermshield I was actually left with raised irritation marks that were a little sore, so I assume this adhesive is actually not as strong/harsh. Just make sure you go slow and take this off under running water, (a warm steamy shower is best) to avoid pulling up any scabs with it.I'm happy to recommend this alternative, specifically for tattoo healing. You get a good amount on the roll and it's easy to use, plenty to do a little trial run first, test for any sensitivity, and get the knack of using it. Of course, if you have any sensitivity to adhesives, or if you are allergic to plasters/band-aids, you should look for alternatives.

Fantastic product
I went to a tattoo artist that used this exact cover and it’s so easy and convenient to use. The tattoos healed well with it, no scabbing, and the adhesive is pretty good - usually waterproof unless you haven’t stuck down properly, absolutely no residue left after I removed it. Just make sure the surrounding skin is dry, that it’s flat and smooth to the skin and it should create a good waterproof seal. When removing I recommend holding it under warm running water for a bit.Based on the box instructions you can replace it after 24 hours, however I left it for full 5 days and then got it off with no issues.Personally it works well for me, I find that it offers really good protection from my work environment/clothes/pets, etc.The delivery was great and on time. Totally recommend!

TOTALLY RECOMMEND!!!
I am a tattoo artist and I always try to use the product on myself first, before offering it to my customers.I did have a small cut on my arm, so I placed a small square piece of Ink Guard film over it. I removed it after 3 days, during which I visited the pool, was taking a shower daily, etc. The film remained in place and the cut healed. Now I am positive that I can use this product for my customers, 5 stars!

Leaves harmful residue behind
I tried this when I couldn’t get Dermshield, multiple clients reported sticky adhesive left behind all over their tattoo. Not worth it, will never use again.

AWFUL
DO NOT BUY THIS!! Literally impossible to get off it left an awful residue on my husbands tattoo and 90% sure its gonna be ruined!! IT DOES NOT PEEL OFF RIGHT and is literally glued to the tattoo we are still trying to get it off 😭 stay clear of this and just use recovery derm instead. Very disappointed and honestly wish I could sue or something 🤣

Adheres in all the wrong spots
I forgot the name brand saniderm at the tattoo shop so I scrambled to get an inexpensive replacement. Found this stuff as it was in the best dimensions for the price. Application method was the same but it immediately rolled around the edges. After the first shower I had to take it off to replace but there is leftover adhesive that is super tender to remove lol looks like it lifted some ink too, maybe a touch. This stuff is garbage just suck it up and buy the good stuff for Pete’s sake. Couldn’t imagine actually using this stuff for it’s intended purpose as a clear bandage, ouch!!!Picture is after the peel off in the shower. You can see the leftover adhesive vs the skin

Unusual level of side effects and poor performance.
Highly adherent adhesives cause unusual amounts of side effects ranging from incomplete bandage removal and clogged pores. One case of allergic reaction. One case of skin discoloration. Back to dermshield for my clients. Hopefully more R&D is in store for this product.
