Big temp drop
My AMD FX-8300 was running at the high end of the recommended temp. I installed this cooler and the temp dropped 20 degrees. Amazing.

Couldn't ask for a better solution for an AMD FX processor. I've added a 92mm fan to the three of these I have and watched the temps go down by 10c!

Works, (very) hard to install
Hi- I've had this installed for a few days and it is doing much better than the standard-sized fan I had previously been using as a stop-gap measure. The original 8350 fan had been "repurposed" to a different AMD PC. However, this new fan is not of the same quality as the original and is much harder to install due to the hold-down strap not being pressed to the correct shape. There is a strap and it seems to work but it has to be pulled hard (very hard) against the plastic top to be installed. Be warned! Thx for reading.
