This adapter works well and is very convenient for expanding a single cigarette-lighter socket into two. It allows me to connect multiple electronic devices that require a 12V socket at the same time, which is especially useful for devices such as a dash cam, GPS, or other car accessories. The USB-C port is also helpful for charging an iPhone and solves the problem of running low on battery while driving. However, the charging speed is fairly ordinary, so I would not expect it to perform like a dedicated fast charger. This 12v car splitter works pretty good. It has a hinge to allow you to tilt the plug receptacles to fit the dash or utility area. It is pretty firm. My only concern with the off/ on switch is as a toggle, you press the toggle button for each device but it's hard to tell if it is on or off. ( Check the device you are using to see if it is on...push the button the turn it on if you don't see your device working at first.) Packages nicely in a box with extra fuses. C Plug is also included as well as two USB ports. Nice!

Very functional , good Value, well thought out

My GMC truck doesn't turn off 12-volt (cigarette lighter) ports. Even low-drain appliances like a Garmin GPS can eventually run down the battery when the vehicle is parked for a week or two unused. This was the perfect solution. Physical on/off switches cut power to each port independently. There's a small digital voltage display that stays on--I was concerned that might cause some battery drain (it might if the vehicle wasn't used for months at a time) but so far I haven't noticed any drain, and it's handy to see exactly the voltage of my truck's battery at rest and with the engine running. Also nice to have 2 ports when my GPS uses one full-time.

Does a pretty good job, especially if you have a small space like my GX 460.,

We recently took a cross country trip in our motorhome and I needed a way to keep my Garmin and Concentrator plugged in on the more than 1500 mile drive. This fit the bill perfectly! No issues with blown fuses, plugs falling out or overheating. The on/off switches are a great plus so I could power off the Garmin at stops but continue to charge the battery in my concentrator. The voltage display, while not the most useful part, is handy and fairly accurate when compared with the coaches on board gauge. If space is an issue, be advised, this unit is rather large, but it needs to be for its function.
