Q: I need size 40. Should I order size 9?

It all depends on the shoe/sandal. I usually wear a size 9, but I can wear an 8 and a half in a sandal. I am happy with the size 39 in the sandal. If you like more toe space, then get the 40 as my toes go right to the end of the sandal. Hope this helps. Love Naot, they are very comfortable shoes/sandals right out of the box.

Q: I am a 7/5 narrow what size schould I get?

I wear size 5 and find that the European size 35 fits me best, even though they suggest that for a size 4. When I have followed their guide and bought size 36, that size shoe is a whole size too large. If you have a local store that sells Birkenstocks, you could try on Birks in sizes 38 and 39 and see which fit best. The Naot should run true to the Birkenstocks. Otherwise, you might consider ordering a 38 and be willing to return it for an exchange if it's too short. By the way, I don't know how these fit narrow feet. Mine are wide and so the elastic band is wonderful for me! I have no idea if they fit a narrow foot nice and snug, though.

I wear a size 38 in all my Naot sandals and my toes and heels of both feet are almost to the edge. If you wear a size 8&1/2 you should probably buy size 40.
