This is an outstanding book that the author has written for ages 5 - 7 and K - 2. She is also the illustrator and the drawings are nicely done and accompany the text throughout the book.Eva Wingdale lives in Treetopolis and goes to school at Treetop Olimentary with other owlets. Her teacher is Mrs. Featherbottom and the discussion of Warm Hearts Day is filling the classroom. The origin of this day is also covered in detail. Years ago the animals were fighting amongst themselves in a snowstorm and a fairy appeared. She needed help from them to get back to Fairyland. They all worked together as a team to get her back! Lesson # 1 - working together as a team. Outstanding. And, this trait continues when making cards and cookies, as well.Thus, the little owlets are in preparation for the celebration this year. Decorating houses, giving cards and presents, wonderful food and of course, the big party at the Old Oak Tree. As one may imagine, the owlets are so excited and are in a flurry of 'egg-citing' times. All is going well until Eva remembers that she forgot the presents for her family. What will she do now?Along the way to the party, the young reader will be delighted to meet sheep, beavers and bears. And, it is with these animals that Eva and her generosity shines through. Sharing is so much more important than buying presents for others. And, giving presents fills the heart more than getting them.Lots of wonderful lessons in this one. From teamwork to sharing and loving your family. And, helping others in need is so important as is being kind to those less fortunate than yourself.Truly wonderful book for lessons to be learned and also for the illustrations.Most highly recommended.

I got this book for my daughter as a Valentines Day gift. She loves this series and this book was no exception! Each page is full color and has pictures to go along with the story. The words are written on notebook paper lines, as if reading a true diary. I would highly recommend not only this book, but the series as well.

We loved reading this book as a family. Our newly 4 year old daughter thinks this series is a lot of fun with the colorful illustrations and relatable stories. I love the lessons they teach, especially in this book.

We have had to order all of the Owl Diaries titles. My little one absolutely loves them. Funny and they keep her entertained before bed.

My daughter has fully enjoyed this entire series. We didn't read this series in order but that wasn't a problem at all. It's full of colorful pictures and art work. Perfect for kids who are just starting chapter books. Can be read outloud or by yourself.

The media could not be loaded. Probably just a printer malfunction but had pages 27-42 still together and not cut properly. Book was clearly printed lobsided. Clicked on Amazon’s return/exchange tab and left a comment and they are sending me a new copy and not requiring me to return this one. Saves me time finding a return box, and solves an honest mistake. Still a happy customer.

I purchased several of these books for my granddaughter. She really enjoys reading these books!

My daughter zooms through this book in 1 day. She loves everything about the story line, pictures, how fun it is to read. She is 7 years old and is falling in love with reading because of this book series.

My 9 year old granddaughter likes these books and that keeps her reading and writing!

You should definitly buy this book I find it funy on every page it is a really gooe enjoyable funny great charming book.

Great story with a beautiful ending. Characters are lovely and the pictures colorful. Perfect for a young reader. Highly recommend!
