Finally a pastry cutter that works well!
I think this is the fourth or fifth different cutter I've bought and by far the best and the first that actually works well. Even when cutting in cold (near frozen) butter, I've had no problem with bending and the design allows for comfortable use and easy cleaning. It actually does what it's supposed to and feels like something that will last. After having used this extensively for 8 months, I'm very pleased with the cutter and would highly recommend it.

Best Ever!!
This pastry cutter is very stable and cuts the butter perfectly. It was a joy to use and is superior to the original design we are all used to.

Excellent product!
Have been looking for a replacement for my old one that broke. And this is amazing. Far better than the pampered chef one that broke!

Great!
It worked like a charm! Far better than the ‘normal’ shaped ones.

VERY Satisfied
I haven't used a pastry blender in years; in my youth I tried it and found that all the dough clumped on it so that with each press I had to scrape it down. Pressing back into the dough didn't seem to help much. Since then, whenever I needed to cut butter into a mixture (which was rare--I'm not a big pie maker), I did it by hand. However, this isn't very efficient so I decided to try again. Some reviews of the standard-type blenders said the handle was too small. Then I saw this one.The handle is large enough for my whole hand and is comfortable. It is very sturdy. Because the cutting area is smaller than the usual type, all the pressure exerted is concentrated in one spot rather than diffused across a broad area. I made three pie crusts and it worked great. Then I used it on a firmer dough--a flour & oatmeal mix. It was harder to do, but I never felt like the blender was going to bend or break. And it didn't. Also, if I ever need to slice a stick of butter into pats, this will do the trick. It is easy to clean as well. I highly recommend it.

Best Ever Pastry Blender
I received this pastry blender and I absolutely love it!! It does a marvelous job of cutting cold butter into the ingredients. Some people complain about issues with its use in a bowl, but if you use a spatula to scrape down the bowl, it works just fine. I have no problem with butter/dough sticking to the blades. I had been using the traditional wire pastry for years and absolutely hated the fact that the handle wasn't fixed in place and kept "rolling" around, getting everything stuck in it. This blender solves all those problems and is a joy to use. I am keeping the old blender as it was handed down from my Mother and has sentimental value. But this item is definitely worth investing in. Hey, if a world-famous and highly respected baking supply sells this item it must have passed stringent testing to meet their approval. I ordered it on Amazon as there's free shipping. I highly recommend this great item!

GOOD PASTERY BLENDER
This is a well-made blender made mainly of stainless steel, the handle makes it easy to grasp and hold when blending. It is sturdy and blends the pastry quicker than other methods I have used. I use a brush to assist when washing, this makes it easy to clean between the "blades". This company also makes a similar product used for mashing potatoes. It is similar in design aside from the handle configuration. I would recommend this item.

Sturdy, works great, and no mess.
I had been using the popular pie crust blender that is oval with sharp cutters; but as I blended the flour and fat, it would cluump and creep up the sides and to the handle. I would have to constantly stop and remove it and throw it back into the mix. When done blending, I had to use something sharp to remove the dough from between the tines. This took so much time and drove me crazyNOT with this blender! The mixture stays in the bowl, doesn't ride up the sides, and doesn't get stuck between the cutters. Although the cutters are not sharp, they cut in beautifully. The only downside is that because the blender is flat, I am unable to scrape the sides of the bowl with it (which became a habit after many years of making pie crusts), but something I am getting used to - definitely not a deal breaker. In addition, it is very well made, so I expect it to last a long time.
