Update after using more often.So after few weeks I have to lower my 5* to 3only and here is the reasons why.1. metal holder is cool but too close to laser unit so you can not even spin around to point oposite wall!!2. two AA bateries are realy not enough if you using it all day long you better have some rechargeable batteries or you will change them avery day!!3. front window should be more wide so you can see laser wider and also on the ceiling and floor more around. other way you have to move with unit more often.4. if the day is bright you will not see anything even if the laser is green which supposed to be easy seen at day.4. I had a chance to compare with PLS 180 laser which is red but more expensive and has 3 AA batteries and last way longer. has better front window and wider lines horizontal and vertical also.red line is tinner also. sharper!!you can see my finger pointing red laser and green is not even on the ceiling even if they both sit next each other.I have try just ones so far so i can not tell more. we have had chacked the level with 8ft level and it is perfect. very easy to see green laser during the day

Toad-ally awesome device! Got it with the usual fast Amazon prime delivery. Nicely packaged both by seller and again by Amazon.Dropped the included two AA batteries in, didn't work. Flipped one battery over (per illustration on battery cover) and it fired right up. Shot some vertical lines with it, I can see the lines on the gazebo 55 feet away with the level inside the house, through a window and it's still 45 minutes before sunset and still very bright outside.This thing is sweet. Looking forward to setting deck post with this puppy. If you need a basic laser level, just buy this one!

Great deal for the money. As with everything you get what you pay for. This projects a bright beam but the beam is wider than that of quality lasers making it less accurate at a distance however it is more than accurate enough to do what most people would need it for. Somewhat visible outside in indirect sunlight at a short distance. However I would not count on using it outside. Overall pleased with the purchase.

Easy to use. Flat-out accurate according to my 1M level. Green laser is pleasingly visible. Bought this to use on a bathroom remodel. It worked very well and really cut down on my tile layout time and on installing the fixtures later. I was able to easily ensure that everything lined up around the bathroom. Don't know how I got by without one of these before.

I was super impressed for the price, used it to hang some IKEA Besta cabinets on the wall, made the job so much faster and easier!! There are a ton of great uses for this thing, a homeowner must-have!!

THis is the best laser I own, I use it all the time. only issue is it will turn on by itself so store it without batteries installed..
