Sturdy and well worth the money
I have been using this for about a year to hold up my 50+ lb e-bike. You just slide in the front tire and it holds it upright. What more can you ask for. Just check the size of your front tire to be sure it will fit. Very convenient. I should have bought one of these years ago.

A little expensive, but really like it
For my biking brothers and sisters out there looking for a solution to the same problem I had. I have one work stand and two bikes. The ones not stored in the work stand were always in the way and/or falling down from wherever they were leaned. This stand instantly solved that problem. Works with my 29" mountain bike and 700c road bike. One unexpected benefit is that I can clean and lube the chain while the bike is in the stand without having to move it to the work stand and remove the other bike. No more musical bikes. This is good for me because I clean and lube the chain after each mountain ride out here in the dusty AZ desert. This stand allows you to back pedal for chain cleaning/lubing without anything obstructing the crank revolution. I'd give it 5 stars if the price were <$40. Hope that helps. Ride on!

Best Design Available
The most frustrating thing I find with bikes is storing and transporting them without damage. Without a doubt this is the best design available for a floor parking rack. It clears derailleurs and disc brakes, doesn't touch the spokes and supports even skinny front wheels very well. The solid, no fuss welded construction is worth whatever little extra this costs over a bolt together rack. The hammered metal finish looks great and has held up so far.The manufacturer's web site suggests it can be used to help transporting bikes and it did work well for me. For a bike in my truck bed I put one wheel in the rack and lightly strap down the bike frame. it is quite stable. When transporting one bike I do the same but I use both of my racks (one on each wheel) and it is rock solid. Some else mentioned it being good for tandems - it also works for a road bike with kids trailer bike attached. For extra large mountain bikes there is a slightly wider version. Our mountain bikes with stock tires are a slightly snug, secure fit. This is great except sometimes you pull the bike back and the rack comes with it. I'll take the extra secure fit.On a smooth painted concrete floor it can slide a bit. Several good knocks of the bike will turn the front wheel enough for the bike to fall over. In practice I haven't had a bike fall over and it is a 100 times more stable than resting the bike against a wall. The accessory to join two racks together probably solves this issue completely.

5 stars!
These are great stands. I own two. One in my garage and one in my office for when I commute to work. They are great for cycling transport too. I stand the bike up in the back of truck and then use tie-down straps to hold it in place. Or I can put my bike up-right in the back seat of my truck with the rear tire in the stand. Works fine then too. And then you have a stand ready to go when you reach your destination.Tip #1: always place the rear tire in the stand. Not the front tire. The rear tire will provide much more stability. With the front tire in the stand, the front wheel can still turn causing the bike to fall over. It takes A LOT to cause the bike to fall over when mounted with the rear tire in the stand.Tip #2: I ride a road bike with has narrower tires. Rather then buying the tire spacers, I bought some foam pipe insulation at Home Depot for about $1.25. Cut it to length and place it on the stand and you have the same thing. I then wrapped the insulation in fabric-based duct tape (aka gaffers tape) to protect the insulation.5 stars!

Excellent
This is a one-of-a-kind, top quality product. I could find nothing else like it. Everything else is insufficient or poorly designed. This holds my Diamondback Recoil (also purchased from Amazon) with knobby 26 x 2.1 tires perfectly. The fit is snug but that's also a good thing. This is really the only way to park a mountain bike without hanging it somewhere. It's not possible to put a kickstand on most mountain bikes (I researched).I recommend the following modification:The unit comes in two pieces. I glued them together with Liquid Nails from Wal-Mart. If you don't glue them together, and you try to lift the unit to move it someplace, the top will come off. Also, it has a much sturdier feel to it when it's glued.UPDATE 1 ... the Liquid Nails didn't hold up ... so I'm also going to review Liquid Nails and give it a score of ZERO. I'll have to do what I didn't want to do and drill holes through the bike rack bars :(UPDATE 2 ... I purchased two 7/64 x 2 1/4 hitch pins from Lowes and drilled two holes using 7/64 bit and that worked perfectly. I uploaded photos for you to see on the main product page.

So close...
Purchased three of these stands. Like other reviewers have stated, not one of them sits completely flat on the floor. My garage floor isn't perfectly flat either, so not a big deal, but all are a little bit tweaked. Mildly disappointing. Also, the little pins that are supposed to lock the two parts together don't work very well at all. On all three stands, only one pin engages while the other is out of alignment. Again, poor execution. One of the bikes in the garage is a 29'er and it fits perfectly in the stand WITHOUT the additional extensions just fine. Maybe the older version of the stands needed the extension for 29-inch wheels, but not this version. If you have a road bike with narrow tires, don't buy the $12 foam kit, but instead go to Home Depot and get a piece of 1/2" foam hot water pipe insulation. Works perfectly and only costs $1.50. Use the money you saved to buy lunch. All that said, the stands do work great. And look great. Best stand I have ever used. None of these things are big enough to make it worth sending them back, but they really should pay a little more attention to the quality of the product.
