I have 7 cats, so I need a constant fresh water source. This water fountain is super quiet, but because I have so many cats I do have to refill this fountain every other day, and it makes a funny bubbling sound and the light turns red when it needs refilling. It does also need a power outlet nearby as the cord to plug in is short in length. It’s a little tricky to put together but once assembled, it works beautifully. It’s a wonderful cat fountain and it comes with filters to keep the water fresh and clean. I have used other cat fountains and have to say this is my favorite one. Because it’s so quiet the cats have no problem drinking from it and aren’t scared of any noises coming from it. Highly recommend!

I love this. It helps when we go on a day trip or away for a little while to know they always have fresh water. I would say I've had this for at least 4 months now? So far, it has been great. There is a small water trickle not unlike a fish tank, but is a very peaceful and non disruptive sound. It needs to be scrubbed out at least every couple of weeks or every month depending, it's not a total set it and forget it. The carbon filter works but not long term, and the inner tub will eventually get pink mold. This is no issue for me as the parts are easily removable and I use a fruit scrubber to wash them with hot water and Ajax soap. Remove the pump and wash separately with a scrubber and tiny amount of liquid soap, but rinse thoroughly. This helps when the motor seems to slow down, or its blinking red and has been a while since you last cleaned it. Once it is cleaned and refilled (I use brita water to extend the life of the cleaning) it should last a little while longer. Very well worth the price, works just as well as the other products for the right price. Will update at 6-8 month mark. When you buy this and figure it out, it helps you realize that these things can be very very overpriced, and that the fancy ones on the market are all show and flair. This simple setup proves that at the heart of the device, its a simple fish tank pump motor. If it ever broke, I would try to buy a new one at the local fishtank supply shop.

My daughter's Russian Forest Cat is a very picky spoiled rotten brat child. But I love her non the less, we like to use cleaners in our toilets but Pearl likes to drink directly from the toilets and that worried us. So I bought this product and she took to it immediately. During a busy covid-19 work schedule, I neglected to take care of the fountain for around 3 months, it was not moving water, so I disassembled the entire unit and did a deep clean and replaced the filters and cleaned the pump. Good as new and I feel bad for allowing it to get as dirty as it did. Pearl is a long hair cat and her fur finds its way into the filters and pump so if your cat is long hair as well, just clean it once a month and your cat will thank you in good health and the occasional head bump into the leg. Instead of a wet spot on my pillow or a butt biscuit in my shoe. All joking aside, I wanted to put a review out there for this company because this product merits a good review from my experience. I hope your experience is the same, minus the lazy slip I made.

What's not to love! The size is great, it looks great, it's practically noiseless. The blue light makes a nice night light for the kitties. It was so easy to put together a toddler could do it. I thought it might freak out my cats, but not at all. I just love it and would recommend it to anyone.

I only got this water fountain today but works great out of the box, no issues. Normally my cat will literally knock over ANY water bowl/dish I have bought. He just loves to splash and make a mess. He tried real hard to push this machine over, he even attempted to bear hug it and give it a go. So far it has NOT been tipped over which is great. The only thing is he does like to put his paw on top of the fountain hole which will squirt the water out the backside. It looks like the wall around the fountain is tall enough to prevent the water from going over (so far). This helps if I need to leave my cat alone for a weekend without worrying he will knock over his regular bowl on day 1 and not have water for two more days. Other than your regular 'fountain' (water running) noise it's a great deal and I don't mind the noise but others might. If anything should change I will update my review/rating.

I'm a very frugal person who spends a lot of time researching and finding the best deal before buying a product. I really recommend this one.I bought this for my cat for Christmas 2021, it's now June 2022 and the fountain still works great. I haven't had any issues with spilling or my cat being able to take any pieces apart which I know is an issue with some other models.My husband doesn't like the noise but I actually enjoy it, it sounds like one of those mini plug in water fountains everyone had in the 90s. He's just picky.Maintenance is really easy, you just have to take the 2 trays apart and wash them with warm soapy water. The sponge gets clogged up with a little chunk of cat hair but I just run it under the sink and it pops off and goes down the drain. Clean it with dish soap and rinse and it's good as new. Every 1-2 months I unplug the basin and give it a good rinse, being sure not to get water on the electrical parts outside of the machine. I buy gallons of spring water to refill it so I don't have to deal with a lot of hard water.Overall my cat loves this fountain and I feel like it encourages him to drink a lot more than he usually would, which is great because he was having really dry skin & dandruff.

The media could not be loaded.  My rabbits have been knocking over their water dishes every night , so I got this in hopes it would be too heavy to move. I was worried they wouldn’t like the noise but it’s almost completely silent ! They both love it and haven’t had any spills so far :)
