More participation and development of minor characters from "Tune Up", the previous instalment of the series, not giving the leads a look in. Intense follow up, with methods of death and destruction James Bond can only dream of and a disorientatingly vivid description of a rock concert.

This is well written but it's not a stand alone book. If you haven't read the earlier books in the series you won't know what's going on.

Excellent series, each can stand alone, but it's best to read the books in order. Fast-paced, interesting characters, well plotted. I definitely plan to read them all!

Read this one straight through! The Pace is breath-taking.

This is a fast paced, well written story with interesting and believable characters. The writing is literate and there is cultural information which adds to the interest. This is the second in the three book series. After reading the next book, I will want to read some of the other books by this author.

Complex events overlap and are traced by the intrepid crew from book one. Although one could probably read this as a stand alone, one's reading experience would be greatly enhanced by reading book one first. This book, as the first, doesn't exactly end in a cliff hanger, but rather finishes up most of the answers to the questions. However, there is great incentive to continue to Book Three. The basic premise is so complex that it works well in this elongated format. Mylin seems once again to be in an impossible place, yet hope lingers in the mind of the reader. It is that hope that makes one want to see if there is a way to curtail the horror that surrounds her life. Therefore, I will read on. Hope you do too.

I enjoyed the 1st and 2nd books in this series of three. Fascinating, moving, gripping! I couldn't put it down!
