They can be used both indoors and outdoors.;Our Lava Rock Stone platter can be used sizzling hot or freezing cold. To heat your Lava Rock either place it in the oven for 40-50mins depending on your oven or you can place on your gas or electric hob for 25-30mins. If you have a commercial oven which reaches higher temps the Lava Rock will heat up much quicker and will extend the cook time even further. To Chill your Lava Rock place in the freezer for 3hrs or so, serving a variety of chilled desserts and cold meats.
