Awesome product!!
This is seriously the coolest product. In reality I guess this is something that you could make yourself but it's not worth the hassle making nor sanitizing it. The quality is awesome and this product really does magically clean even the most pigmented powders from your brushes. I'd recommend cleaning after a couple of uses just to keep it working the best and of course for sanitary reasons. Overall the size is awesome to fit in my travel toiletry bag and the black, coarser sponge used to clean in comparison to the smaller pored white sponge for testing if the brush is clean is well-thought out and helps to really get all powder out. DO NOT GO OUT AND BUY EXPENSIVE BRAND NAME VERSIONS OF THIS. THIS PRODUCT IS MORE THAN WORTH IT AND DOES THE EXACT SAME JOB.

Unsolicited, Honest Review 0-1 Star
IDK what the positive reviews are about or maybe I received a different product. I've had it now for over 2 months and have repeatedly tried to use it and I have never got a different result. From what I can see the purpose of the middle white sponge is to see that ur brush is clean, well mine stopped being white after the 1st time and it never went back to being white after cleaning (I use the Sephora solid brush cleaner in charcoal, it doesn't stain any white brushes). It's now a permanent off white color, not sure if u can tell in pic. The video is extremely misleading! The product doesn't work that well, not even close. Using this product if u want to remove color from the brushes u really have to sweep the brush hard into the sponge and it removes like 75% of the color, enough that it won't transfer color onto ur eyelid but if u r transitioning to a lighter color it may change ur color, especially using white brushes. So if u try to try to sweep ur brush against the center white sponge almost everytime u will see color transfer. Additionally for how hard u have press ur brush into the sponge to be effective it does seem to put unnecessary hard use on ur brushes. On the Ducolor brushes (and other Amazon brush sets) due to lack of quality it has pulled out individual bristles and on my higher quality brushes (Sigma, Morphe, & Sephora brushes) it makes my fluffier blending brushes fluff out more and I have to reshape them. Last the black sponge (and white sponge) doesn't clean like the video. Since u have to use a makeup wipe to clean the sponge u can make better use of that makeup wipe to clean ur brushes and just use a small paper towel to dry real quick.Overall if ur into sub-par products (or less than), it's ur money! But for the rest of us, I would never recommend anyone spend money on this. I've tried a couple of these things and none of them really work. Just invest in more brushes so u can always reach for a clean 1 and then u can wash them in the evening when ur washing ur face or whenever it is that wash them.P.S. I did repurpose the center sponge in the lil tin- if u do soak sponge u can use it for wetting ur brush to apply metallics, shimmers & glitters. This way you don't have completely soak ur brush, it's easier to controll the amount of water on sponge for amount of coverage u want w/each type. For this I would bump up to 3 stars but not it's original intent!

I feel ripped off
This is a rip off!I had read about this in an article, but this just doesn't work so maybe it was a paid spot. I have emailed the company and asked if perhaps the middle part was to be wet and they said no. This doesn't take off power from shadow or anything else from makeup brushes. And it's non returnable! I have no idea how anyone would review this well, but I am fairly sure that I am bright enough to use a brush cleaner and this one just does NOT work.

Best makeup tool to come on the market since the Beauty Blender!!!
This totally changed the way I do my makeup! Dare I say...life-changing??? Ok I won't go that far, but I now feel silly for having dozens of eyeshadow brushes, when I could have had this brush cleaner and gotten by with owning 6 eye brushes at the max. I can now create a beautiful eye, sometimes using 6-7 colors, and only use three brushes the whole time because of this product. I can go from using a dark brown or black for my crease, a few swipes around this sponge, and go to a pearlescent white with absolutely NO TRACE of the dark, highly pigmented color I just used. Best makeup tool I've bought in a long time! My vanity is now MUCH less cluttered. Best makeup tool since the Beauty Blender.

Great makeup brush cleaner.
Purchased for my granddaughter. She loves it. Allows you to change color on an eye shadow brush. It gets all of the powder off the brush and c an be used for any powder brush. You can turn it over in the tin and use the other side when one side gets too much makeup on it. Remove from tin, wash with liquid soap and warm water and air dry.

LOVE this, a must for professionals & regular users
Love, love, love these! I’ve gotten two for myself and four for my kit. It’s great to remove the bulk of powder products in between colors, before shampooing, or before using to remove any dust there might be.

Super-handy!
This handy little tin is easy to use and fairly quickly gets virtually all the powder off my brushes. I've managed to switch from using jet black to light gold eyeshadow in under a minute with no fuss or muss. I do get best results if I wash the sponge fairly frequently, but that's not a problem since it's so porous and dries so easily - after a couple uses, I can flip it over, then after I'm done putting on my warpaint for the day, if it needs it, I can wash it quickly in the sink and leave it to dry and it's generally ready to go within a few hours.Yes, I still need to actually wash my brushes every now and then, but this means I can do multi-color eyeshadow looks without needing to have multiple eyeshadow brushes on hand.

Who would've thought, A DRY SPONGE!!!
I was skeptical about the sponge being dry. I thought, "how can a dry, porous sponge clean my brushes?" Let me say I was at a loss for words when I swiped my eyeshadow that had sparkles in it, across the sponge a few times! WOW! I am so impressed! I can not tell you how many face cloths I have ruined from trying to clean my brushes in between colors! No more! I recommended to my hair dresser who does makeup on ladies for weddings...Im that impressed!
