Works well
Works well for capturing male moths. Remember that this will not stop the moth laying eggs, you will need to spray the hedge as well but it does help keep them away.

Works
This product very much works - on occasion you might think its not working as you won't catch any moths but they have a fairly rigid life cycle so you can go a few weeks with nothing and then suddenly overnight the pot can be full of the critters!I have a large box tree that was totally decimated one year (I was fairly sure it was dead) but since using these the tree has recovered well and although there are still some caterpillars around eating the odd leaf, the tree is 95% back to fully green.

It works
The second year of using the lures and they really do trap the male moths. Have made a big difference to the Box hedges. Would definitely recommend if you are troubled by the Moths.

Easy to use, never caught a moth despite seeing them flying around it.

Refill capsules
These are easy to use capsules. Fingers crossed they get rid of the blighters too!

Avoid. Expensive empty useless capsules.
Should be zero. £12 for 4 x empty capsules!!! What a joke. Very disappointed. Wasting my time, causing inconvenience, organising return etc. I bought the kit last year, it caught 1 moth, so now I'm thinking did I check the capsules that came with it then? Don't think I did. One big con. AVOID!!!

Very effective
Bought the complete kit late last year and it was surprisingly effective. Unfortunately, that meant that there were lots of box tree moths around. But it stopped the further infestation.I've just bought new lures for the new season. The vial has changed - it is no longer the small buff rubbery 'cup' but is now a white polypropylene cylinder. The pheromone is on the outside of this (according to IPM) so there's no need to open it (as I did before calling them to check). My photo shows the new container just before I put it in the green cage and then into the trap.Excellent service from IPM-direct.

Works really well.
This is the 2nd lot of pheromones we have bought, to use in our Box Moth Traps. They may not be cheap, but we have literally caught hundreds of the moths in the few weeks the traps have been in use. I think the lures only last about three weeks, hence buying the 2nd set. (I note p&p is almost the same as the item, but bought with other items makes it better value.)
