These sound pretty darn good, built well, and a great value. They will make a good substitute microphone when needed. I would not suggest they be hand-held, as it does suffer from substantial handling noise. But on a mic stand, they should work fine.

I've used dozens of hand held vocal mics over the last 50 years. Our band was the first band in our area to use SM58's! No they won't replace you $300 AKG, Sennheiser or Beta-58, but these are a steal as a good cheap 58 substitute. As good as any under $75 mic for close held vocals.

I was skeptical when i purchased these microphones. 3 mics for 37 bucks.... I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of these mics. They are sturdy, have very little handling noise, have a warm, crisp sound. They EQ very easily. The build quality is there, they so far appear to be able to withstand normal abuse. They also look good and are unobtrusive on stage. Granted, i use them in a church setting where they dont get traveled with or abused greatly. I will buy more of them! Dont be afraid to buy these mics. I have used Sennheiser, audio technica, earthworks, shure, and several other brands. These sound great.

I was surprised at the quality of the microphones. They are rather solid & picks up sound easily, they do not have an on & off switch which may be an issue for some. My only problem I have is that one of the mics did not work at all. I really would like to get a replacement for it though. The mics are used for school performances, nothing professional. When attaching them to a mixer just remember to have the microphone volume turned down.

I have got much use of these mics. The german capsule sounds like a 835. they have ok grills, haven't broke one after two years. the clips are great. Going to get more.When you have violent rockers throwing your things around, and you still want to make money, AAAND you want good sound, than you buy these mics.I use a huge variety of Samson mics for these situations normally, but these are growing on me.

U bought these to use as an inexpensive mic for amps. I was surprised with the great solid construction and how crisp they were as vocal mics. So I reassigned my ancient Shures to amps. I love these mics and will buy again.
