My daughter had a stroke at age 5 and developed a lot of repetitive behavior and nervous habits from the brain damage. Her dr suggested we try NAC and we have noticed that it helps a lot with these behaviors and to generally help her be at ease in overstimulating environments.I dissolve a tablet in a couple of ounces of Gatorade at breakfast and at lunch and this helps her to concentrate at school and at therapy tremendously.I find the price of these to be well worth it because of the quality. Less expensive capsules won’t give you the same results because NAC breaks down when exposed to the air and therefore has less bioavailability when consumed. Each time you open a bottle of the cheaper capsules they will decrease in efficacy and we noticed this when we attempted to save some money. The bottle we bought was trashed and these individually packaged effervescent tablets will never leave our cupboard again!I highly recommend these.

My son is picky and the flavor of this was too awful for him to get used to. We tried icing it down, less water, more water, but nothing really worked. It does have an aftertaste that lasts and lasts. We went back to NAC in pill form - which we understand is not as beneficial.

Several times they sent me this items and Manila Amazon envelope that's poorly padded, so I receive the tablets oftentimes broken up. Amazon's pretty good with the return policy, fortunately. It's pretty tasty especially if you put two in at one time and 1800 mg of NAC is been study to be a safe level. I've even put three in at one time, taste good as well but but I take the NAC capsules I'm usually taking three 600 mg. Do your own research, but I believe there's been scientific studies that show 2400 mg what study to be safe even in elderly study participants.

Started using this product for my daughter as she was plagued with ear infections - it really helped thin the mucus causing the infections and she had less... After a little research we started using it preventatively for colds and flus. If I catch it right away and we both start taking it when one of us is sick it almost always prevents us from passing the sick to one another - a miracle for a working single mom. My daughter can't swallow pills yet so this stuff is perfect and she likes it. With the sweetness were more natural... and that it came in a variety of doses - I would prefer to give her 600 mg. only as that's what my doc says she needs as a minimum but it's hard to break down the wafer and keep the left over in good quality for next dose.

This has really helped my son (who has autism) with his repetitive behaviors. We were out of it for a week and I saw it all come back.In terms of taste, it is pretty sweet. I dissolve the tablet in a glass of reduced sugar lemonade and then add a splash of lemon juice to counter the sweetness. My son drinks it down easily. When he initially began taking it, he had a lot of gas. After about a week or two, it went away. I think his stomach was just adjusting to it. Do yourself a favor and get these effervescent tablets, NOT NAC pills or capsules. They smell horrid and don't absorb nearly as well. Great product!

This effervescent tablet was a life saver for my son who has ADHD, age 7. He moves and fidgets constantly so I read a review on this product with same issue and purchased it! It worked after the second time using it. Even his teachers noticed a change in his behavior. The only drawback is his allergy to beetroot which is one of the ingredients used for color in this product. We love that it worked, but the allergy issue may be more than we can handle. I called the company and was told they are working on releasing a new flavor so we are waiting anxiously for them to put it on the market. Thank you!!!!!!!!
