Bad brand or Amazon problem?
Package was clearly cut open then re-sealed with tape and returned to Amazon, probably as defective. Adapter would not read NVME at all and tried 2 different brand drives. Returning this and getting something else.

Using it on a 2017 21” iMac
Not much to say, besides that it just works. I put into the iMac with a pioneer nvme ssd, works like a charm, and it’s faster than the factory stuff. Been running it for 3 months now. Not very elegant install though.
