It was an easy setup in the car, but that's the only positive I can say about this dash cam. I was looking for a 3 channel dash cam with the widest range for all 3 views and a backup camera that could just be mounted on the rear window. The following cons:1. You have to connect to wi-fi every single time2. When you're connected to wi-fi with your mobile, you're also disconnected from the mobile network3. The app doesn't work as it should, doesn't save videos or photos4. I tried to review the SD card to determine if the video quality and it only recorded audio, no video. I did format the SD card accordingly5. I had to adjust the time every time I turned it back on. I would correct it through date/time and also time-zone but every time it turned back on, it reverted back to the original factory setting.I need something I can trust to boot up correctly and efficiently every time I turn on my car, rather than wasting 1 to 3 minutes adjusting everything over and over again.

5 Stars!
This dash cam is wonderful! The resolution and screen are crystal clear. Between the three cameras, my car is completely protected via video recording by using this device. It can see in front, behind, and inside the vehicle for so many uses. I can even see a child misbehaving in the back seat. (I cant wait to have fun with that one) It was easy to use and came with a long cable for the rear camera. To make things even better, the app that comes with it is great. No more having to take an SD card to the PC. I highly recommend this device to any driver.

Wifi is useless. Cannot connect.
The wifi is useless on this, the app is the worst. I like the recording function and video quality is acceptable.Returning this though and get something else.

Wish I had set this up one day earlier!
When I was offered this dash cam for review, I jumped at the chance. Normally, it would not occur to me to have a dash cam. I don't drive for a living, and I have a very good back up camera in my new Bolt. However, the speed demons from the early days of the Pandemic, when they decided the very open freeway was their new race track, are still at it, even though traffic is very heavy. The other day, one of them came within inches of crashing into me, skidded, screeched and spun part way and dashed off at 80 miles per hour. I decided I need to be able to take photos of this type of dangerous driving, and maybe even catch their license plate numbers or remember what color and make the car is, so I can call 911 to alert them. What happened, though, was even more scary. I heard a loud "crack" that sounded like a gun shot as I was driving, and seconds afterwards the rear window on the driver's side, right behind my head, imploded. I was sure it was a freeway shooter, and I didn't see anything near me that would have lost part of a load or kicked up a rock. It could have been something like a beebee that bounced off but caused the window to crack. The CHP couldn't find anything but broken glass inside my car, and noticed the Dashcam, which I had just mounted. They asked us to look at the recording. However, because I had not had time to purchase a large sized memory device, I only had two (excellent quality) minutes of sound and picture, which had written over the time when the window imploded. The CHP wanted to hear the sound, and also how long it was before I called 911, but sadly, that was no longer there. So now, I have purchased TWO very large (256 gigabite) storage devices, although I certainly hope nothing like that ever happens again. I can, however, say that the camera and recorder worked very well. I don't need to see what goes on inside my car, since I am mostly alone, and I don't need a back-up camera, but this was pretty easy to install. I have it just below my rear view mirror, where it does not seem to impede my view. I'm so glad I got this camera, although I hope I have nothing more dangerous to view than the scenery in the future!I have had a chance now to install storage in the camera so that I won't miss any future near accidents! We took the tiny chip out, and used the adapter that was supplied in order to play the footage. It is so remarkably clear! I can also see myself driving -- I'll have to learn to keep a pleasant photo quality expression on my face! -- but if I had been able to capture the moment when my window imploded, it would have been very helpful to the CHP. As long as the camera is plugged in and the car is turned on, the camera is working. After a minute, during which you can see the pictures yourself of the road ahead, it appears to turn off, and you only see numbers, but never fear, it is still working. If you think you want a dash cam, I cannot recommend this one enough.

Easy to set up 3 channeldash cam
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This dashcam is very versatile and useful for driving. The three-channel feature allows for you to set up the third camera anywhere in the car. The image quality is very sharp and clear; I can easily read any details. The camera has an emergency battery backup, so if your car is parked, it will record if it senses any unusual movement. It supports micro sd card up to 256 GB, enough for a trip's worth of video. It was a great value as I feel much safer driving now. and overall, a very good camera.
