Loved every chapter on life of legendary Subroto Bagchi. What an inspiration! This is a must read for all those aspiring to have fruitful career.

Because of the simple language it keeps you engaged & is motivating too. If you're in some career/life uncertainty, this might help in some way!

I picked up this book because of its terrific title. The memoirs of a corporate professional is written in an engaging style which is aimed at providing "lessons" for the young professional as the sub-title duly informs the reader. The first quarter of the book is quite fascinating as it deals with Mr. Bagchi's unique personal circumstances and childhood years. However, the middle suffers from the usual 'sluggish middle' syndrome. The corporate shenanigans are not written in as engaging a style as the first bit and is likely to lose the lay reader. However, overall, it's an interesting memoir.

A common man do uncommon things, the writer has written and shown it in his life!

This is one of the best books i have ever read. I regularly read books and this one is so special and gives you a feeling that you either lived in the next street or the next home of Mr. Bagchi. amazing narration and the author takes you thru the entire life with a 100% hand-holding. This is a recommended read for every one who aspires a great career. It is a leisure read and takes a couple of days to finish.

Wonderfully described autobiography (I don't know if this is the right word to use), very inspiring. Being worked for Wipro for so many years and couple of interactions with author during his MQ head role, I could connect with many examples and situations described by him. This book will also help parents and children to strengthen the family values.

Very true to the title of the book. Subroto Bagchi has done a great job in writing down the major events of his life in a very simplistic manner. A lot to learn from the book for young IT professionals and Entreprenuers!!

This book does not really belong to a " Self help"' category'. It is entertaining with life events of some one who is so much like you and if you are a small town boy , it sounds so much like yours !Bagchi is a gifted writer . And he has used simple words to describe life of a Corporate man in amazing clarity and provoking thoughts after every passage.I thoroughly enjoyed reading ...l.l

As a grad finishing a master of science in information technology this book inspired me to believe I can do anything in the tech industry.

Reality of life, One can see God in Mother.She is supreme and so self less.The world is her family and so the broad heartedness to love the world.There can be better expression of blessings in last hours than" Go and Kiss the World"
