Style Arc Sewing Pattern - Blaire Shirt or Dress (Sizes 04-16)

At first, I wasn't sure about the pocket installation on this pattern, but once I got it going I like it.

I recently discovered Style Arc Patterns. This was one of my favorites. I love the loose fit and style of Style Arc patterns.

Its a pattern. My girlfriend likes it.

The instructions were printed on the same large sheets the pattern is on instead of standard paper that is easier to both use and store. And the instructions were poor - each step was listed and the graphics for each step were listed separately. I am an experienced sewer and I still found the instructions difficult to follow due to minimal information. I shouldn’t have to go to their website to follow the pattern. Disapointing.

Pattern was printed on paper instead of tissue and did not include instructions.

I've been sewing since I was 8 years old and I'm almost 64. This is the worst pattern ever. The directions are confusing, the pattern itself is confusing. If you're a sewing novice, pick something else!

I love the look of this top and eventually I was happy with the outcome - but the instructions were difficult to follow on this one. Maybe it's just because I'm new to sewing again (after 25ish years) so perhaps it's not a good pattern for a beginner.
