Perfect.
Very sturdy and easy to lock the sides. I'm posting a picture with a teddy bear in the bin to show for size.

perfect for baby snakes
First off, At the moment I have no need to use something like this for storage purposes, but if the need ever arose I would buy another one of these boxes in a heartbeat. Now on to what I'm using this tub for: I have a 7mo Brazilian rainbow boa in this tub and I am so impressed with the quality of this thing. The handles are ridiculously sturdy, and the box itself is very good quality. My little boa has plenty of space for his warm hide, two hides on the cool side, and a nice sized water tub, along with a lizard hammock in one corner (it hangs over a hide) and a corner shower shelf thing in another corner, so that he has plenty of places to hang out.If you know anything about rainbow boas, you'll know that they need ridiculously high humidity. Babies require 95%-99% humidity and this tub has kept the humidity at 99% since day one. I actually added more ventilation holes than I originally had because I was worried that it must be far too muggy and hard to breathe in there, and it's still at 99%. Oh, and that's with paper towels as substrate! I do live in San Diego so maybe that helps, but I doubt it makes or breaks the humidity-holding capability of this tub.As for heating, I'm using an 8"x18" heating pad since it came the closest to the measurements I was looking for (1/3 of the tub--8"x17.75"). Honestly I could probably get away with a smaller pad--this is my first belly-heat-requiring animal so I'm not especially educated about using heat mats. I covered the sticky side of the mat with foil tape because I didn't want to stick the pad to the tub, then I placed my thermostat probe in between the mat and the tub, and placed a thermometer probe inside the tub on top of the heating area, under the substrate (paper towel in my case). I've had the heating pad running for about a week and it generally goes up to the mid-90s, and the tub has bean heating up just fine, with no melting or warping or a "something's burning" smell or anything to be concerned about.I really love this thing and I wish IRIS made one big enough to use in between this baby tub and the eventual permanent adult enclosure (which won't be a plastic tub).

IRIS Weathertight, Best Plastic Bins for protected long-term storage, Period.
We use an incredibly large number of plastic bins for a variety of storage applications. We think that these IRIS weathertight ones are the best plastic storage bins you can buy. The seal holds up even after years of opening and closing, and they stack extremely well. You will also be able to fill the containers to the brim, as the lid does not recess into the container and consume storage space. Being clear allows you to easily find the items you are looking for. We have purchased dozens and dozens of these mostly in the clear 41, 62 and 74 sizes, but a few of the smaller units. These three sizes stack with each other. Our only complaints are 1) that when buying multiple of them, they generally all come in separate boxes, which is highly inefficient, and wastes a lot of cardboard, 2) when the six locking handles are open, they have pointy edges that can hurt/scrape if you hit them or if they hit drywall, 3) there isn't an option to get these same smaller sizes in solid non-transparent versions to protect sensitive items from sunlight.

Also good for 3d printing storage
Purchased the 46-quart box to store my 3d printing supplies. The box could comfortably contain up to ten 1kg spools with plenty of room for desiccant; the box is also tall enough that a 32oz spray bottle of Windex can stand fully-upright.I've made these initial observations, but felt they didn't meaningfully detract from the product:-The reinforcement of the bottom isn't nearly as robust as in the lid, so the contents will slide around on the smooth inside as the plastic flexes.-The bottom of the box has feet designed to interlock with the lid if you want to stack many of these boxes, but these protrusions do not lend themselves at all to sliding over wire shelves.-The plastic of the tub is moderately cloudy, and the lid is frosted except for the alignment track (which is clear)--you can make out what's in the bin, but reading something like a hygrometer display that isn't pressed up against the side will be difficult.

Heavy Duty Watertight Container
This was exactly what I wanted. I needed it for Rabbit food and purchased this one from the secondary party. It was drastically cheaper than the one for prime. It was still shipped quite quickly and I didn't have to wait long. This seems of great quality and very well sealed. I've not tested its seal with water inside but the rubber on the lid as well the plastic it's constructed out of seems quite sturdy. They also stack well upon eachother and are very stable. My rabbit has gone at it and it still has held up well. Very pleased with this and will be buying more if I ever need more waterproof storage.I've had this since December 8, 2015 and will update the review later about what has changed or if the quality has degraded.

Good for storage of books.
A very sturdy box that has additional security so there isn't any damage inside the stuff you may have. However, humidity definitely gets inside but I now know that the best way to keep the humidity away from the stuff that you're going to save is to purchase silica gel, get a good plastic bag (not those recyclable ones from the store) like a trash bag or some sort, put the stuff in it with a handful of silica gel, close it tight but also let the air escape, and you're safe.

Nice product. There is a (plastic/foam/rubber
Nice product. There is a (plastic/foam/rubber?) gasket that helps seal the lid. The catches seem to be good quality. It's not a supertight seal but should do the job.And the delivery was to my back door so it wouldn't be stolen from the front steps. Nice of the delivery person to tromp through the snow and ice to get to the back door. I appreciate that.
