Wonderful story of conquering of fear of a young boy who overcomes adverse event with courage and herosim. Got it for my 12 year old but also enjoyed it myself.

Book was a school assignment, but I’m glad we purchased rather than borrowed. What an adventure!!! I thought I remembered from when I was in school but I was off. The details in the writing bring the story to life. Great author, great story, great book. Worth it!

I loved It

I read this in grade 8 and fell in love with the story. I wanted to reread it so I got it. I love Brian’s journey and hardships, the story is filled with knowledge and is a great story to give to teens if they want to read a new book that isn’t really long.

Tolles Buch, das ich auf Empfehlung meines amerikanischen Freundes gelesen habe. Ich werde es mit meiner 9. Klasse in Englisch nächstes Schuljahr lesen. Es enthält am Ende noch study questions, die ich sehr brauchbar finde.

Super snelle levering, de tweede dag al ontvangen.Het verhaal van het boek is leuk en leerzaam, ondanks dat er weinig dialogen in zitten. Heel soms valt de schrijver in herhaling van bepaalde zinsdelen maar om Engels te leren vond ik het niet storend.Zeker aan te bevelen voor kinderen vanaf 10/11 jaar. Maar ook voor volwassenen ...
