I needed something to give my photography subjects a warm round glow on their face, as if they were holding a torch. My fear was that this would be too flimsy for holding a light bulb upright by hand and/or it would get too hot, with a light bulb screwed in. Neither of these concerns was an issue: this has a very sturdy base to hold the light bulb in and that base does not get too hot, meaning it will not get too hot if a light bulb is hung from it either. This came fast and worked out perfectly.

I purchased this to provide additional light in the room where I varnish my wood projects.It was very inexpensive and works perfectly. I only give it 4 stars because the on/off switch is too close to the actual bulb and makes it awkward to hang so I can reach it.

Easy way to add ceiling light to any room. The wire hanging looks a bit ugly so you’ll have to find a creative way to mask it

I used these lightbulb extensions sockets to upgrade some holiday decorations that originally use batteries. They will be used outside so plug protectors will also be added. It was an easy and simple fix. I recommend.

Perfect to use temporarily until I get my ceiling fan/light combo fixed. Seems like lights are a little dimmer than in a regular socket, but nothing that is too noticeable, once my ceiling fan is fixed I can use this thing anywhere in the house, so its a win for the price, a lot easier to move than a lamp!
