Watson8-Bay Rapid Charger for AA/AAA NiMH or NiCd Rechargeable Batteries

So far mine has been working just fine. It charges the batteries in a reasonable time and it doesn't over do it. They do get pretty warm but once they are fully charged it stops charging them. This is the 2nd one I bought from Amazon, though the first one was under a different name but it was the same exact charger. I have a lot of solar lights I use inside the house plus a lot of those auto flickering cancel battery lights so I needed two of these chargers to make it easier to quickly charge a lot of them at the same time. I am very pleased with these kind of chargers.

The best-performing charger I have ever owned. I use it exclusively connected to a cigarette lighter socket. The little arched contacts on it will get smashed flat and frumpy. That happens with all of them if you mash the batteries into place. You just kind of got to pop them back out and then quit mashing them. the charging cable where it attaches to the charger gets to wear it doesn't want to make perfect contact unless you fiddle with it and be sure you got it right. All of these things are happening to me though because I use it very, very heavily.

Handy to use and works good.

I have charged several batteries, and it's exactly what I have been looking for. It can charge one battery or multiple. I like that I can have the option to drain the battery before recharging for conditioning purposes.

Fast charging and easy to read progress graphics. Though the batteries get hot so I wouldn't advise letting them sit there unattended for too long.

It performs exactly as I expected and charges the batteries at a quick pace. I like being able to visually know the charging progress on each battery.

it shows you if how much charge is left on the screen.it charges my Amazon Batteries really quick too and i had 24 charged around an hour or so (maybe less)the car plug is also a nice plus if you have a car or in another one's car if you're on the go.arrived quickly for me. so yeay. :D

Not worth it as the display is not working with one use and no responce so far

Having worked with many types of batteries over the years, and having encountered the many pitfalls with chemical memories and the like, a battery cycling device, or battery conditioner, such as the Watson 8-Bay Rapid Charger is extremely useful and almost necessary. Although not the most elite of battery conditioners, this units does the job very well and is cost effective given the tasks that it performs. For those like me who are replacing almost all of your disposable alkaline AA and AAA batteries, this unit will extend the life of your batteries and is "plug and play" easy to use.Highly recommended.

I do like how this unit unloads the batteries before it recharges them. No memory to keep battery life shorter. would recommend this charger.
