Oh. My. God. These things are so friggen gorgeous, which explains the exorbitant price! A billion times more pretty and reflective than glitter. I don't want to use glitter ever again. They are like little flakes of star shine and surprisingly tough -- they don't crumble to dust when you handle them or mix them into things. And they're natural, which I appreciate because glitter isn't exactly environmentally friendly. Trust me, despite the price, a little goes a long way and you won't be disappointed. They are elegant, and a great alternative to glitter (which looks cheap no matter how you use it, in my opinion) as long as you don't mind the flake size being rather large. The average was about 1mm. They are also a little sharp so be careful, since they are flakes of actual stone I wouldn't put them on my face or anywhere near my eye/mouth.
