BABY POWDER IS THE ANSWER!
My wife and I have used the wonderful Theraband bands. They got my wife out of physical rehab twice after tortuous operations. These re focused on the hands.There are complaints about the stickiness of the balls. I washed the initial powder of of mine and it immediately became sticky. I put baby powder (cornstarch) on the ball and it is now -- once again -- "sticky free". Now all I have to do is actually use it.

Perfect ball for exercise
My hand therapist helped me select the perfect ball for exercising my hand . It is working extremely well for me.

Slightly too small
Firmness is good however slightly smaller than desired for the palm of husband's hand. Will still try to use.

Greatly helps with arthritic pain
I tried the softer gels and this one is what I've needed for arthritis. It gives the right amount of resistance.
