Great lineman hardhat
I bought last summer while it was super warm outside for ventilation purposes. It does feel cooler than traditional, white brim hats lineman typically wear.

I have been using the Petzl Vertex helmets for years. They fit very well and easy to adjust. It is a comfortable helmet to wear for 8 hours a day. It’s nice to have the chinstrap feature if you are working aloft or in a windy environment. You can add various accessories such as lenses/eye shields, headlamps and ear muffs to them for added benefits. They are of a sturdy construction and don’t feel cheap like the safety helmets you can buy at your typical home improvement box stores.Yes this helmet is not cheap, but for the amount of time I use it for, I get my moneys worth out of it.
