I purchased the item in red expecting it to be a rich red leather as in the description. Well it is some sort satin fabric in a muted red tone. Pretty disappointed.

My niece loved the jewelry. I was very happy with this over-sized box. It has a black leather exterior that opens to a plush velvet stage that accented the brilliance of the stones.I was slightly disappointed that the leather is quite thin. I am concerned it might not hold up in a lifetime of regular wear. Though it will certainly though I don't want to make it sound disappointing. It was something ai noted.I am very pleased with this box and how beautifully it made the pendant and chain look. It would have looked cluttered in a smaller box so I am glad I chose this size. The larger than normal space highlighted the unique design.It will last her a good while and it already completed the most important purpose so I will consider it money well spent.I would have liked to have had U-shaped staples with holes to punch out to hold everything more securely. However, it was no problem to tape the chain down to keep the pendant secured on the plush velvet.

The description didn't say anything about the lock button being for visual purposes only...., that I'm ok with , the box is beautiful, shipping was fast... I would 100% buy again!
