Solid for the money
This is my second purchase of a karambit from this company, and for the money, it's hard to beat it.It exactly what you might expect at this price point. It's a mystery steel that is mostly sharp sporting what appears to be decent G10 scales and comes with a passable sheath. The blade is a single piece of full tang steel. Would I pry a car door off it's hinges with it? No. Would I take it camping to use it to build a fire? No. Would I expect it poke nasty rips and tears into someone trying to do me harm? Absolutely. This knife is pretty much a featherweight. It's as basic of a karambit as you can get. It does the job well and the handle should fill most hands decent and the ring should fit most fingers lest you have thick sausage digits. For what this knife costs, it's a good value. It's not a Microtech Iconic. The blades isn't M390. It's a little sharp piece of steel to get yourself out of a bad scape. That's it.Also, the sheath is...OK. I think a lot of people complaining about it are wearing it wrong. The sheath of this knife, IMHO, is supposed to be worn in waistband. I carry mine at around 1-2 o'clock/appendix. The sheath goes into my waistband and I clip it over my jeans. Then I thread my belt across the clip. So the clip is now gripping my jeans and the bottom edge of my is securing the part of the clip and juts back out slightly. It stays put pretty well.

A Great Budget Carry Option
The media could not be loaded. This is a great option for every day knife carry, it can be used for anything you'd normally use a pocket knife for as it still has a traditional blade shape, and it comes rather sharp out of the box. It doesn't print when worn under just a tee shirt as well. A few minor QOL and QC flaws but regardless it's a steal for the price.DISLIKES:I dislike the fact that the belt clip that it comes with on the sheath doesn't have a lip to catch your belt when drawing, HOWEVER this can be fixed for pennies at home by just attaching a simple piece of bump cord or paracord to the bottom two holes in the sheath and tying that to your belt or belt loop (I attached a carabiner to mine for easier donning and doffing). Definitely expect to need to replace the belt clip, but you should be doing the paracord trick regardless just in case your clip fails. Last gripe is that (while I didn't personally have this problem) I've heard the sheath QC is not excellent and some will end up being too loose, you can fix this at home by heating up the thermoplastic and forming it to the knife. At this price point I would say that is to be expected. One tiny nitpick is that I wish the hardware was black to match the G10 scales.LIKES:For the price especially you get a whole lot of bang for your buck. A nice looking, seemingly well built, and comfortable to carry knife, for just under $20 at the time of review. Like I said it's very sharp out of the box, extremely lightweight, and with a nice profile that makes you hardly notice it when carrying. The jimping is nice and gives you solid purchase when gripping the knife blade up, and the finger ring is wide and gives more confidence when you do more of an icepick or blade down grip. I like the traditional blade shape as that makes it very easy to sharpen when I need to, and it's listed as D2 steel which is absolutely not bad for a simple inexpensive carry tool.

Best budget EDC knife
Personally I never use it for utility purposes, although I know it could, I have a similar one from canku it's a bit bigger and use it as a work knife, it's survived all the heavy heavy use from my home remodeling job and even a bit of bushcraft, no rust whatsoever. as for this one, i have it on me 24/7, I use a Ulti clip and have it tucked and secured on my waistband, it has never fallen, it's extremely comfortable to carry concealed, extremely discreet, I feel confident carrying it all day everyday, because I am sure it is more than capable of saving my life if it comes to that, it's super quick to draw, that being said, BEWARE! canku has occasional sheath quality control, sometimes they're too loose or too tight, other than that great blades, also canku has absolutely terrible customer support, they never replied to me, therefore they will be getting 3 stars, minus two for the lack of customer support
