simple baren...
not plastic, which I love. durable and creates great contact between inked print media and paper. works great with fragile papers (rice paper) and more durable surfaces (watercolor & printmaking papers).still use my hands & fingers sometimes but for even contact, this is wonderful.

Simple and effective
I just love products like these and sometimes just buy them for their simple beauty but this also works very well on my prints! And I've subsequently seen them used in YouTube videos of world renown print artists.

Good bargain
I was hoping the inner would be real shark skin but it's okay, the leaf is real and nice and treated and in good shape. Super sturdy too. Can't wait to use it!! It LOOKS authentic and I assume it will perform just like one that is. And I say that with a grain of salt because this is as close as you can get for the money.

Cardboard wrapped in a leaf
This was disappointing. It fell apart after one use. The leaf that was used to wrap the two circular pieces of cardboard split open and snagged the paper of the project I was working on. I do not recommend this product.

Mediochre construction
I find this product very loosely put together. The leaf handle is fastened with twist ties and very loosely put together. Average quality.
