I have been waiting for this book. Bought this book since December. The wait was well worth it. The design of these socks are amazing. I can’t wait to sit down and sip some tea and knit all day. Thanks to Nina for all of her hard work.

The socks in this amazing book are so beautiful! There are both toe up and top down socks and several of the socks are knee high styles. I do not think you will regret buying this book.

I’m a seasoned knitter but I had never done socks before. I finished the first pattern and it was so easy to follow. Charts are easy to read, writte instructions are easy. I plan on working my way through the whole thing. I love it.

Right, my mum knits and she can do the really fancy lacy stuff and cables and she is like a knitting wizard. I saw the Japanese style design and thought I’d not seen that before (and trust me I’ve seen a billion knitting patterns) and the butterfly ones and I bought this as a present for my mum. So, she’s knit those Japanese style socks and she said that the pattern was really good, clear and she’s impressed at the skill of the designer (this is high praise) and it hasn’t been ‘too easy’ and she’s enjoyed the challenge. They look lovely and not just everybody is going to be walking around in those socks.

Livre bien détaillé avec grilles de bonnes grandeur.

I loved the winter designs in this book, the cover design and the beautiful picture of a ladies head being my favourites. The designs are clearly written and depicted in chart form. The cover design gets its multi-colour almost tattoo-like pattern from the use of variegated yarn so only 2 balls of wool on the go (fair-isle) and very warm 2 strand thick socks. The patterns are all fabulous and vary in complexity but with no compromise on style or fit, I think this book is excellent value for money particularly if you have female relatives and friends and want to be the one who gives handmade gifts people really want to wear
