When it comes to supplements it is important to use healthy dose of caution when sourcing online, I have personally tracked down and uncovered fraudulent (even dangerous) products from numerous brands. Happily, when it comes to Country Life products we are on safe ground. This is a reputable company that has been in business for decades, and is easily reachable over the phone. I spoke to them before writing this review, and while they were not able to provide Certificates of Analysis (CoA) due to trade secrets (this is actually a fairly common policy), I have no doubts about the authenticity and purity of the products they are producing. They are simply too public and too large, and can be found on the shelves in my local grocery stores, where I know the ordering department is doing their own research before choosing products.As far as the Bee Propolis itself, the aroma coming from the opened bottle is pure and extremely pleasant. It smells exactly like real propolis, just like the propolis I've purchased directly from local beekeepers in the past. And propolis is an expensive substance, so we are benefiting from Country Life's supply chain when we purchase it in this form. Their price for this supplement is close to the material cost for 25g of propolis.The health benefits of taking propolis are wide reaching, and I consider it something of a panacea. In the past I've used it in the creation of skin creams, but it is very difficult to work with, as it needs a solvent like ethanol before it can be mixed into the product. This is the first time that I've taken it internally like this, and I expect that it will be just as, if not more beneficial, taken this way as applied to the skin.This is a great product from a great company, and if you have any hesitation I would suggest giving them a call. They are a pleasure to speak to over the phone, and not only will they be able to reassure as to the integrity of their operation, but they will probably be able to recommend products as well.

This seems like a decent brand of Propolis. I like that it is sourced from the USA, unlike other brands which don't mention where the ingredients are from.I have been taking this supplement for 3 weeks and last week I got a pretty rough cold, which lasted for about a week. So much for a boost of the immune system and antioxidant properties ... but I also understand that there are no magic pills out there.Propolis is harvested from an ingredient found in the hives of bees ... hardened bee saliva apparently ... so you may want to tread lightly if you are allergic to bee stings. From a functionality and effectiveness standpoint, it can be hard to rate as many of the benefits of Propolis are 'behind the scenes'. If I was rating this purely on the ability to ward off colds, it did not work for me.Overall, the value is on point for other Propolis supplements ... it smells less strong than others I've tried, especially the liquids which could be good or bad, depending. The jury is still out on Propolis but some of the studies seem promising. I hope my honest review, after actually using the product for a while, have been helpful to you.

This is a quality source of bee propolis. You get 500 mg per 2 capsules, so 50 servings per bottle. Or you can just take one for 250 mg. Propolis is made from bees which they use to construct and maintain their hives. There are a lot of interesting properties and if you are interested you should look up what the potential health benefits might be. I've been taking these and haven't noticed any negative side effects. The company behind this is reputable and this is a good quality source of propolis, recommended.

I wanted to try these after reading up on the various ways that bee propolis is thought to improve one's health, & finding no health reasons not to try them (at least not for me, but if you're unsure, or have relevant allergies, always ask your doctor first), even while more research verification is still being done for some of the claims. Like most supplements, it's impossible to pinpoint exactly what it's doing for you...but if you're never getting sick, that's probably a good sign that it's helping. At least that's how I look at it, when combined with good evidence to suggest it's effective on various levels. The capsules have a tiny amount of odor to them, but you don't taste them when you down them- it's nothing like the unpleasant taste I've heard about when taking bee propolis in other forms (like liquid or lozenges- ugh). I'm so glad I found these.

I used bee propolis and royal jelly many years ago, but wandered away from it. I am trying to get back into a healthy lifestyle and bee propolis is a great addition. These capsules have the recommended dosage, along with some calcium, and are easy to swallow.So far, so good. I plan to take one a day, for overall health and well being. Bees must know something good!
