My wife and I have put a lot of work into our yard since moving in about five years ago. It was a mess, but we've cleaned it up pretty nicely. We've started decorating with a more whimsical look recently and it's giving the yard a little more character. When I saw this little gnome, I knew my wife would love it and figured it would fit in well with the other gnomes she's started collecting. I was a little right and wrong with my thought process. My wife loves the gnome, but I made the mistake of thinking it would go in one flower bed when that bed has more house-type decorations... I suggested we could put it in the front yard with one of the other gnomes but that idea was shot down because she didn't want it to get stolen. In the end, he found a home in a different part of the yard where we have been doing more of the vegetable garden.This little guy is extremely cute and I love the solar light function. We have a few other lights around the yard and it's nice to be able to look out and see a little glow. One of the things I really like about this is that the solar panel is built into the ball so it isn't very noticeable. It still gets enough power that way that when I woke up this morning (a little before sunrise) it was still shining brightly. I'm sure, over time, the battery will wear out and it won't hold the same charge, but that's pretty typical of all of these types of products. Even so, when it does, it will still be a cute addition to the yard.

He doesn't put off as much light as the actual solar lights I have, but his little "crystal ball" looks pretty when lit up and he is absolutely adorable sitting on my patio ledge. I wish he was blue instead of green as I have kind of a "theme" going in my yard that is subconsciously based on my own favorite color, blue. I have a pair of beautiful, metal peacocks that are brass with purple, a tiny touch of green and lots more blue. I happen to have three flower wind-spinners, one a navy blue, the others a light, teal blue. I have two hummingbird feeders that are glass with lots of blue streaks along with some yellow and red, but as I've mentioned, the "theme" is definitely blue. Still, this is a cute little gnome. I'd love it if they offered him in different colors like blue or red or purple - others may also have a color theme like I do and would love this guy in "themed-in" to their yard!

This gnome is just adorable. He has the cutest little hat made out of lettuce or cabbage (could be either) that comes down so only his nose sticks out. There are two little birds sitting on his hat. He has a long beard that goes down to his shoes. He is holding a flowerpot with a round cracked glass light on top. The gnome is well-crafted and sturdy. I like that he is solar powered (no electricity needed). After he has charged all day and the light comes on at dusk. The round orb glows brightly. The lights will stay lit all night when it has a full charge. This gnome is a great addition to my garden. He is third gnome I have acquired. I love the whimsy the gnomes add to my garden. This gnome is a cute addition to my raised garden beds.

This is a great solar light. It is very bright for the size of light. The gnome statue looks good both in daytime and nighttime. It is in my backyard in a planter. During the day the colors are cheerful and look like they do on Amazon’s page. It lights up very brightly at night. I have a lot of solar light products. This is one of the best brands because it consistently comes on and stays on at night.

This little guy is so so cute. He is hiding a little surprise behind his back. It lights up at night. Made so very well. Very colorful and bright. Looks amazing outside at night.

I have quite a few gnome decorations around my house so I could not resist this one for the garden. The size is perfect for tucking under some taller plants while still making the solar panel accessible to sunlight. There is an on/off switch on the underside if you choose to turn it off (not sure why you would since it only comes on when it's dark out...), but sadly even though I have mine switched to "on" and placed it in full sunlight, come nightfall it does not illuminate consistently. When it does turn on, it's the globe the gnome is holding that lights up, and it's very pretty, not too bright, a nice accent to the garden. If it turned on more reliably, I would give it a better rating.
