Now usually, I don't do this, but this tape adapter is such hot garbage that I had to stop by and drop off a little cheerful holiday message. Literally, if I took an assortment of garbage, threw some water on it, and popped it into a microwave for 15 seconds, the resulting lukewarm garbage would likely be a much better and more functional tape cassette adapter than this one.Here I am, thinking "well, it's a tape adapter, they can't really mess it up, can they?" Oh, yes, they can. It buzzes and clicks loudly when it's in the tape deck, the sound is so janky and bass-heavy you wonder how other tape adapters manage to work so much better, and it only works on one side of the tape deck.Please, don't buy. The RCA car cassette adapter worked perfectly for me.

This product works, but is consistently frustrating, particularly while driving. It plays audio fine, but requires turning the volume on my car's sound system and on my phone up all the way or almost all the way to hear while driving at high speeds (i.e. on the highway), and at least 75% of the way to hear while driving at normal speeds. The noise of the cassette circling is also quite loud, so volume must be turned higher to hear it over that noise. Finally, the aux cord occasionally 'slips' out of place and jolts passengers by blasting the volume (at least 50% louder than it ever gets normally), which is somewhat dangerous for the driver. For reference, I do have a 2006 vehicle and its sound system is likely no longer in perfect condition. I've used this product for about two months now, trying to stick it out, and am now looking to buy a new one as I'd like to not be continually annoyed while driving and trying to listen to music on my phone!

Broke alittle but after using but these kind of six cords break easily..

I sometimes have to use a van for work that doesn't have an aux input or Bluetooth...so this is my workaround so I still get my music.This is well made and the sound quality is very good. As with all of these, though, the cassette decks sometimes dislike these and spent them out. I just try it a few times and then try not to take it out.

I had to take it apart and remove the auto flip trigger inside to make it work at all. It died likely from a short within the next few months.

Awful. Absolute piece of junk. The quality of sound is garbage and far too low and distorts the bass to the point where I have to completely turn down my bass in the car. On my first use the chord barely worked and had to be messed around with just in order for it to work. Would never purchase again. The same product I purchased from the dollar store worked better than this.

I was expecting something better then what I got. The audio transmitted is really low quality and poor. Thought it was my phone but i checked it with another adapter and it was fine. The cord is very durable but what's the point if audio is bad. Worst choice I've made on Amazon.
