For an entry level product this is actually really good, if slightly overpriced. Build quality is reasonable and it's easy to setup.The manual is total junk but will give you a rough idea where to start. If you need to adjust PIR sensitivity it's under "operate interval", you're best playing with timings as the default 5s will cause the device to record at the slightest movement.Only reason why I give 4 stars is because the temperature is not accurate, its about 7c out, I assume the sensor is either faulty or placed near a warmer part of the device such as the battery compartment. Also the time stamp could do with being displayed with low opacity or without the grey bar to get more screen space. It says you can update the software but there is absolutely nowhere I can find that offers this.

We were pleased to have this camera at a really good price, but there are issues which are being taken up with the seller,. Unfortunately, there are a great many pictures with just lines or black on them. Also it is very erratic. The camera packed up recently taking no photos at all. I changed the batteries and the SD card but same thing happened. I changed the batteries again and it seems to be back the way it was in the first place, i.e. some pictures good others just loads of lines or completely black. We are in the process of taking this up with the seller. However, we were absolutely delighted to discover we have a hedgehog!

This camera performs as well as more expensive trail [or trap] cameras, providing clear videos and photos both during the day and at night.. The booklet/manual is small and if you carefully follow the instructions it is easy to set up. I have found that somehow it has twice set itself to take photos instead of videos after taking several videos but I can't pinpoint anything which triggers that. Battery life is extremely good

Great build quality, better then the others I looked at, was surprised by the features and small size!Definitely recommend, one star less because the manual is abit chinglish but not needed anyway.1 point to note it says tf card which had me scratching my head and nearly didn’t buy but it’s just an old name for sd card - any micro Sd card up to 32gb will work

stopped working properly after 9 months - lost manual (which wasn't much help in the 1st place so can't even check system) and can't locate another. Even a reset hasn't worked - timer up the creek and length of video inconsistent.

This item was at the cheap end of the trail camera price spectrum. However after returning a more expensive and frustrating wifi camera I figured I'd give this a try.The design and menu is pretty similar to all the other devices out there. It takes micro SD cards instead of standard size. It does not come with a USB lead.It mostly took pictures of waving bushes but they were clear enough.

Fairly easy to use once you get used to it and great for the price

I am having so much fun videoing the wildlife in the garden, daytime and night-time! Wanted to check that just hedgehogs were eating the hog food I put out for them and got a surprise. Yes the hedgehog, a tiny little mouse, a cat passed by but didn't like the insect derived kibble but settled for a drink of water and finally, at dawn, a seagull who pecked away and tossed the dish in the air!Even though the IR is invisible it is very sensitive to security lights etc. so play about with ideal distances if you are focussing on a particular area to prevent "flare", especially if you want close-ups. I have also taped a tiny sliver of muslin-type material over the microphone pinhole to reduce wind noise, which helps when the wind is gusty. Great value for money!
