Before I had this, I had a contigo West mug, and I ended up returning it because the spring in the cap broke and it wouldn't seal. The spring on the west mug broke because of poor design, when I tried to clean the inside, the position of tuft spring meant that pressure was put on it every time I cleaned it, and eventually that pressure snapped the spring. I'm very happy to say that this transit mug has a different design, a much smaller spring in a much more sensible place. So I can clean this mug with no worries.I've had this mug for about a year now and it's still going strong! Use it almost every day. The website rates this as keeping liquids warm for up to 5 hours, which in my experience is pretty much spot on. I make my tea at 06:30 in the morning and I can happyily drink it at 11:30I've never had a single leak from this and I've kept it in bags, thrown it around and nothing. No leaks at all!Overall I'm very happy with this and would recommend it. If I lost it, I would immediately buy another one

Very good travel flask. Definitely leak proof and can be safely transported in a bag. Almost too good insulation, I use for black coffee whether instant (boiling water) or from the machine (lower temp) it is advisable to leave the cap of for 10-15 mins once drink is made before travelling.Risk of scalding and dripping from the lid. The closing feature of the cap means that cleaning is not perfect.Cup is a little large in height and girth and does not fit many car cup holders.I would prefer if it had a handle.

This is a awesome travel mug it doesn't leak a single drop regardless of which postion its in even ip side down.It retains the heat of the drink for hours and if there is anything not to like like its to good and hot drinks can be to hot to drink for quite some time so watch your lips.If you want a mug that won't leak retainers heat is easy to clean then look no further. Get this one

The Contigo has in theory a good auto seal, but lots of mess is left round the spout when you drink, sometimes enough drops to spill if it fell over, even though sealed. Or maybe I'm a messy drinker. Was surprised to find it doesn't fit cup holders but then it is actually very large. Bought this because I left my 720°DGREE Travel Mug at a friends and won't have it back for a while. The 720 Dgree is superior in every way: better sealing, keeps liquids hotter for longer, drinks cleanly, better quicker opening, fits cup holders. Looks cooler too. The Contigo will go back in the cupboard when I get my 720 Dgree back.

Absolute joke. Was sent faulty product, only way to get any drink out was unscrew the top off. Sent back for full refund. Ordered much cheaper mug which works and keeps a drink hot very well

This travel mug replaced a flask that I normally used when hill walking. It does the job adequately and is much easier to use as opposed to pouring hot drinks from a flask into a cup, and can therefore be used whilst still on the move.It keeps drinks hot for a good 3/4 hours, depending on outside temperatures. Recently it was used when the outside temperature was hovering just below freezing and my tea was still reasonably hot after two and a half hours of being outside.However the travel mug will not fit a vehicles cup holder but does fit nicely into my drivers door side pocket.

I've tried varied and numerous flasks/travel mugs. This is the best one by far. My brother has one and was raving about it and if he says it's good then that works for me :), he's particular and choosy.It keeps hot for the best part of the day and keeps liquid cold for hours and hours. It been fantastic through the heatwave in the south east these passed days. I would definitely recommend it, wish I'd found it years ago.

I had the older model and this is by far the better option, I've kept and still use my old one but this is so good I'd be happy to have this as my daily driver and for travelling. Well made, easy to clean even in a dishwasher as an example and doesn't peel well the none pained one which is a bonus.Overall I can't imagine going with any other brand, like my phone cases I'll be returning to this company again every time I need a replacement or just to get extras for the office.
