CasioWith the launch of its first watch in November 1974, Casio entered the wristwatch market at a time when the watch industry had just discovered digital technology. As a company with cutting-edge electronic technology developed for pocket calculators, Casio entered this field confident that it could develop timepieces that would lead the market.Today, Casio is focusing its efforts on solar-powered radio-controlled watches: the built-in solar battery eliminates the nuisance of replacing batteries, atomic timekeeping means the users never have to reset the time. Recently, Casio launched a series of Bluetooth watches that sync to the users cell phone to automatically update the time. Casio is always moving time forward. If you're searching for great value in a classic diver-look watch, look no further than the MRW210 from Casio. Its 53.1mm face with large Arabic numerals provide at-a-glance information. Couple this with a bi-directional rotating bezel and 100 meter water resistance and you've got a timepiece that's easy-to-read, simple-to-use and durable. Black Resin

$25 Casio, should last a while, and remain stylish while telling time
Received this watch about a week ago and it is as described. One reviewer mentioned that their bezel was non-functional - I'm happy to report the bezel on the watch I received is bi-directional, as stated. I wouldn't want to time a dive with it, but it'll work for cooking chicken or steaks on the grill. First thing to note - this is a large watch. 50+ mm (53 for this one) is a large diameter and if you want a smaller piece, this isn't it. My wrist is average to larger, so 43-50mm watches are usually the range I look for, and this one is on the larger side of what I can wear comfortably. That said, it's very light and easy to wear. I have a bunch of heavy stainless steel watches (auto and quartz, like this one) and those are easily 5x the weight on your wrist. If you're looking for a lightweight, simple, large-face, stylish quartz watch, this Casio will fit the bill. The gold accents around the numbers on the dial are a nice touch and help reflect light in low light conditions for easy reading of the time. The hands are large and well accented, with the opposite ends painted black so you can really see the hour and minute positions quickly. It's a nice value-priced watch, I hope it holds up to normal wear and tear, and I don't see why it wouldn't. The band could be a weak point, but it looks and feels solid and thick. The buckle itself is plastic, which bothered me for a minute, but it's actually quite resilient / flexible, so it doesn't seem like it would break easily. One last thing to mention - the crystal is mineral glass and not a plastic compound, so it should hold up well and remain clear over time. Nice job Casio. This one reminds me of a super-simple Casio diver style watch I bought for probably around the same price in the 1980's when I was a teenager, which is partially why I bought this one. Nostalgia + low price beater quartz watch = good value.

This watch is awesome
This watch is amazing I had ordered it and then read the reveiws which I normally do that the opposite way but I disnt this time and then I started to get worried this watch that I thought was a decent size from picture people were saying it was a small face like a child's walmart watch and that the band broke and they had to replace them eventually well I'm here to tell you none of this is the case I would compare this to a g shock it has a decent weight and large face like most mens watches my husband wears it as his ever day work watch and lo es it fits comfortable and can read with ease as for the band we have had no issue yet but if u have a g shock u know that the resin bands wear with time and they are fairly cheap to replace my husband has a g shock as well and has for 3 years only have replace resin band once this is a great watch for the money very durable and elegant and all analog no digital like most shocks have

My third Casio skindiver's watch... great value for the money and so fashionable too!
Casio combines great design with function. I love the way the strap seamlessly connects to the watch face. There's no extra metal or geegaws. It's sleek and the battery insures the time is right. I get SO many compliments on this watch, which I prefer to an expensive designer watch that I received as a gift. I like that it's anonymous...it doesn't scream "designer" or "brand"... it just looks good....I get my manicure and it looks so smart on my wrist. This is style.. and for under $30, this is an unbeatable deal! (I had a similar watch before that lasted for more than 5 years... the strap wore out and steam started to get inside the case... I couldn't complain!)

Decent watch - numbers not too visible
Can't really beat a watch for $25. From the picture I did get the impression that the numbers would be a bit brighter to look at when, but not so much when I have it on my wrist. The numbers are big, but since they're grey w/ gold borders they don't pop as much as depicted in the picture. It fit's fine, is lightweight (tho I do prefer a watch w/ some weight to it), and it tells the time. It is a bit of a hassle to set the date as you have to pull the pin fully out and wind the watch hour by hour for each day until you get to the date you want (ex: if you want to set the date to the 29th and the date is only on the 4th - you have to spin the minute hand around the for each of the 24 hours of the 25 days. That's 600 times, folks!!!). The day is easy - simply pull the pin to the first stop the turn it to forward thru the days until you get to the correct day.Don't get the idea that it's a divers watch, either. It states so in the description. Good for splashing around in the water but not for any appreciable depths. And only the hands glow very faintly in the dark too, so if you're under water and it's dark, don't expect to see the time when you're getting chomped on by a shark or pulled into the depths of the ocean by a giant squid!!The bezzle spins both ways so you can set a start and stop time if you like. It's not very stiff so it may move if bumped. At 53 cm wide, it is a bit big on the wrist, but then I can't complain about how big the numbers are that I can't see well because they're not white!!So, all in all, this watch does just what it needs to do....tell the time! And for $25, it does that job just fine.

Rugged time piece
Casio watch, a dependable time keeping piece.Very good quality watch for a good price. Not the biggest size as other military watches but more of a large sports watch.Looking for a gold tone with a black background and minimum time function buttons...classic operation.

GREAT BASIC WATCH!
I love this watch. It's big and easy to read with my tired eyes, but its not enormous. Its lightweight, attractive with gold paint accents and a functional dial wheel. If all you Need and Want is a Basic water resistant, time, day name and number (bilingual) with a seconds hand for less than $25 you cannot go wrong with this watch.

Large Easy to read Dial
Rugged easy to read and a great value and light weight for its size. Battery life is shorter than other models and you have to be sure it seals back when you change battery. You can also loose waterproof seal if you bang crystal hard during use. I still love it and have two, one for work and another for casual wear!!!

Did Not Account for the 2024 Leap Year
when trying to sync the watch I found out that there was no addition for the leap year and the days and time of the month was out. I love Casio watches but this was a disappointment..

Great value for money
With my deteriorating vision I needed a watch that was easy to read (including without glasses), that was not too heavy, is waterproof and reliable. A previous watch was fine until the winder fell off (not the same brand), so I ventured into trying my first Casio. I have been thrilled. Despite concerns by a previous reviewer, I find the synthetic strap easy to wear and comfortable (previously I "always" wore a leather strap). The face has not scratched. It is often in water with no apparent harm, so I can wear it all the time. It is quiet and accurate (according to my cell phone - I have not had to adjust the time over a number of months). I use the bi-directional bezel a lot - for me a valuable feature. I don't think the advertising photo does it justice - I find the face attractive and remarkably easy to read, even when on the golf course without my reading glasses. And the price through Amazon makes this an amazingly good deal. My best everyday "go to" watch. Thank you Casio. Would buy again without hesitation. 5+ stars.Update: 1) still a great watch with excellent timing until the battery died; 2) the battery died and I discovered another big plus - unscrewing the back is easy and inserting a battery from Amazon (less than $2) is very easy. No need for an expensive trip to a watch maker or jeweler; 3) the synthetic strap snapped after less than a year but it has been replaced with an excellent waterproof leather strap. Still love this watch and can wear it 24/7. 5++. Would buy again.
