GLOWTECK H4 6000K LED Headlight Conversion Kit
I ordered these for my '04 CRV and as soon as I installed them in the OEM headlights I was not disappointed. I personally cannot stand incandescent lighting , it's archaic technology and the light it produces is not bright enough. Swap out your incandescent lights for a set of these and welcome a more useful white light for your night driving. The kit comes with two headlights, two ballasts, two zip ties, two double sided mounting tape, one set of instructions, one online registry card and as an added bonus you get some 6000K 194 wedge bulbs. Pretty sweet, right? Installation is a breeze as well. If you could change your old bulbs then you can install these. I'm a mechanic and I 100% believe that if you can read the instructions and can follow those directions you can install these yourself, even if you're not that mechanically inclined. Common sense is all it takes. As it can be seen in the included pictures these are pretty bright. My car is parked on a 15 degree incline facing the street and across the street is a 20 degree incline, but you can see how lit up everything is. Our recyclables get picked up tomorrow morning so I had a good target to include to show how much everything is bathed in light. What I didn't expect was one of my cats to show up and pose for a few shots, but he's cool enough to include because it helps separate the high beams shot from the low as he is missing from the high beams photo. You can also see I took a shot from the drivers perspective, one from the Honda logo perspective as well as from the street so you can see how bright they are, I didn't forget the 194 wedge bulbs, they are the two inner lights on the headlights, and they too are bright bulbs. The amber outers are actually 6000K LED 7443 bulbs and are sold separately. The headlights are fully adjusted in the photos as to not be blinding, but my CRV sits higher than a regular car and you can plainly see that they do have a lot of brightness glare.I was looking at HID kits for my upgrades before I found these because you usually go with what you know. I did some looking around using Google-Fu and found that the automotive LED headlight technology has improved in the recent years, so I decided to try something new. Since I've seen these particular lights on quite a few automotive LED headlights top 10 lists as well as individual reviews on Youtube I decided to take a chance. So far I don't think it was a wrong one.For Christmas 2019 I gifted myself a second set. That's how much I like these headlights.

Amazing quality, clean easy install, buy them!
I have had high output conversion kits in other vehicles, which I have paid just as much or more for, but nothing compares with the build quality of these bad boys! They blew me away just pulling them out of the box. Make no mistake, these are hefty, well machined, nothing cheap about them nor their separate modules. Fit my super low mile 97 Camry. I had oxidized foggy lenses so I replaced those at the same time with a kit sourced here at Amazon. Trick for installing them after removing the rubber seal and bulb out of your headlight assembly. Install the beefy removable Glowtech metal retaining ring off these lamps first, which just pulls off the bulbs with a firm tug. Then clean the old rubber seal (if you are using your old lenses), if you install them dirty, moisture can get around the seal! Don't do it that way. Don't rush this or you will be sorry later. Fit the new retaining ring into your lamp assembly and clip it into place, now push the rubber seal over the outer lens rear seal plastic and new Glowtech inner metal retaining ring collar. Should fit around the inner collar like a tight glove! Insuring no moisture will be able to get into your lamp assembly. Then install the new Glowtech bulbs as they push click right into the metal collar. The machining is fairly tight and snug, so it would be a miracle if any moisture gets through here! Having worked in a machine shop I give a strong kudos to them for the specs on their machining process here! They installed a spring loaded set ball on the sides of the lamps so you can locate the proper lighting position in steps by twisting the new bulbs as needed in the collar, which is drilled out in rotational steps. With fairly gentle pressure it clicks in rotational steps as needed so you can get your new bulbs facing in the right high low position in the lenses. These are very well thought out! Literally night and day difference over your stock bulbs! Not to mention quite a few other cheaply made overpriced wannabees found in your local parts stores sold at the same price. Welcome to the world of actually being able to see at night. Not just see, but see very clearly. I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I am with these! And will be buying another set for my BMW M3.

Very Bright! Read update.
Installed in a 2006 Toyota Tacoma. I researched the reviews of the Glowteck LED headlamp bulb conversion kit along with several other manufacturers. I decided on these after seeing the many positive comments left by other buyers along with Glowtecks answers to peoples questions. They arrived very quickly and were nicely packaged. The "bulb's" themselves are beautifully crafted and appear very well made. The installation instructions were generally good, although one part is a little unclear regarding adjusting the bulb in the base. The instructions describe aiming the LED chips to the left and right but also aiming the low beams so they reflect downward. The included drawings are intended to clarify this, but the drawing doesn't show that over two of the LED chips is a small metal hood that directs the light. Well, it "shows" the hood, but in the drawing it looks identical to the LED chip next to it, so I wasn't sure. I believe that hood is what they meant when the instructions refer to aiming the low beam LED chip downward. I'm sure most people figure that out, but perhaps the drawing could more cleary show the reflecting hood to lessen the uncertainty in those people who are unfamiliar with these. Otherwise, installation was very easy and straight forward and the adjustability of the bulb in the base couldn't be easier! The bulbs are amazingly bright! Even in daylight. The included picture shows the Glowteck LED low beam along with the stock Toyota 55/60 watt halogen bulb on low beam. I've only had them in for less than a week. So far, I'm impressed. I'll try to post a follow up review after more use. Thank you for reading.UPDATE 12/27/18: So, these things are amazingly bright! With regards to the metal hood covering the low beams, the directions state to position them so the low beam light is directed downward. However, I suggest that you check your OEM bulbs orientation and position it the same way as OEM. I followed the instructions included and aimed them downward but noticed that my head lamp beam wasn't very effective AND I was pissin' off my fellow motorists. So, I checked the orientation of the hood on my OEM bulbs and found that they are aimed UP! (2006 Toyota Tacoma). Fixed it, now my head lamp beam is much more effective on both low and high beam and the motoring public is not blinded by me. Those engineers at car manufactures do know what they are doing! Still recommend!

Requires external capacitor for hi-beams to work
Installed these and the hi-beams would barely be a difference like the other reviews stated. Took these to a professional auto led shop and they said these leds were on the lower end for headlights and would require a pair of $40 capacitors for them to work. Had them installed and the hi-beams work with the capacitors.

Just installed these on my 2005 Honda Pilot
I want to first preface this review with the fact that I just received these lights yesterday and also just completed the installation this afternoon; I haven't even driven with them at night yet. First impressions are very good. The product seems rock solid and delivery was quick by Amazon. I replaced my 4 year old OPT7's because they had dark spots and I was looking for something brighter. I did a side by side comparison with one OPT7 installed and a Glowteck installed. The Glowteck's are noticeably brighter and had a different light pattern. I had trimmed the rubber boot (which incidentally is not a big deal) when I installed my OPT7's, so, I saved a step there. Anyone reading this review should take heed that these lights need to breath because they dissipate heat. Either trim the rubber boot around your existing lights or leave it off if this applies to your installation. I did not modify the adjustable light pattern. I installed them as shipped. I also highly recommend tying down any loose wires. I will post a follow up to this review in a week or two. (Don -- Cindy's husband). Updated Aug 8th, 2018: I wanted to upload an image on the drivers side light with the Glowteck LED light in place. Notice that the boot is trimmed exposing that back of the light enclosure. I actually cut the center of the boot out to make sure the housing had proper cooling. I did have an opportunity to try these out at night. I found the patten to be dead on! You really won't need the high beams. Updated August 22nd. I've had several opportunities to try these out on the open road. These lights are more than adequate and seem to throw a nice pattern with absolutely no dark spots or misdirected light. Readers should be forewarned that you will probably get some folks flashing at you. I simply flash back. Nice job Glowtech! We'll see how these lights stand the test of time. I'd like to know when you folks come out with 16,000lm lights. Just a brief update to let you know these lights continue to work without incident (5/31/19). Nice!!
