Starter was fairly easy to install, and probably saved my $200 if a power equipment dealer installed it. They would have doubled the part price and then tack on $95 an hour for labor. Very happy with the starter......

I'm very happy with this starter. Install was fairly easy but I did have to tap out the mounting holes in the block (1/4-20) as some earlier mechanic had butchered them. Started first kick!As someone else mentioned the socket for the extension cord is a tight fit. However, my original Tecumseh part had the same issue so they get the blame. Over quality of the casting and stampings are excellent.The packaging also included a full page of test results for the unit, including graphs of volts/amps vs. torque. It was all in Chinese which I don't read but it was an interesting insight into offshore manufacturing, and gave me confidence the starter was fully tested.Update 2/14/2021: the starter is still working well. As mentioned, the mounting holes in the block had been stripped out by an earlier mechanic. Tapping them helped for a little, but the lower bolts still came loose pretty quickly. I had to use helicoils to fix them - of course none of that is the fault of this product. In fact, the misalignment probably put additional stress on the starter, and it came through it with no problems. With the helicoils, the starter is now staying tight, no problems.

replaced the used part and worked well

My Ariens snowblower, model 932101, starter quit working and needed to be replaced. I have been putting it off because the OEM one cost around $270. Therefore, I figured I would try this one instead to save money. It worked great and was a direct replacement for Ariens part # 72403600. Came with all the screws, washers and hardware needed to install it. Couldn't be happier! Saved a lot of money buying this one and would highly recommend it!

This was a direct replacement for my Airens Snowblower starter that sheared off the gear teeth over time. This was an easy install with about 6 bolts to replace it. Even came with replacement hardware (if needed, I used my original and saved as a backup) and an additional lead cord for power. Started the snow blower right up after install and sounded like a strong motor. Satisfied purchase.

Great new starter for our 1998 snow blower. The part fit perfectly. Just as described. The snow blower starts with no problems now. My husband had no problems installing this part. All we need now is snow and we are good. So much better than having to buy an entirely new snow blower. They do not make them like they used to. So happy with our purchase.

Ariens 11528 Tecumseh PoweredStarter number is 37000 this is advertised to replace that starter and it does not.Return and refund time

I liked that this starter was here the next day. The quality is ok. had to enlarge starter button hole because the small mounting holes were a little off. but once done it started the snowblower right up. Hope it last pain to have to change after a blizzard.
