I got them and tried them out.They are actually pretty nice looking.And they do a fantastic job, even through heavy matting.I do wish the finger holes are a little bigger for man hands :)but this did not make them difficult to use or create any type of problem for me, its just more of a personal preference.I must say, beware of how sharp these really are.I managed to slide my finger on one of the blades while trying to push through a matt, and let me you, it cut straight through my skin like it was butter. Ouch is all I can say. That being said, quality is excellent, sharpness is excellent (tried and tested lol), and I expect them to be quite durable.I thought they seemed flimsy at first but after studying them I realized that its all part of the design, so the play you find in the scissors actually seems to work towards the curving of the blades as they meet making it part of the design.They also have a little rubber stopper between the finger grips to stop the grips from slamming into each other and damaging the art work, another big plus when you consider the finish on these scissors.These seem well though out, and I am proud to add them to my arsenal.Did I mention they look pretty darn cool?I have only one draw back and its only fair I mention it.The case is good,BUT there is a flap to keep the scissors from banging into each other in the case, and this flap doesn't quite cover one of the scissors from banging into the comb.It did however come with a little leather sheet and when I pack these up I use place this sheet over the comb, and this fixes that issue.But if the manufacture can make that flap like 1/2 inch or so longer, this set would be completely flawless.Either way you can use the placement of the leather sheet to fix this issue, but I thought I would mention it.These excellent, I highly recommend these scissors to anyone that needs a set for any type of hair cutting needs.

This set goes above and beyond my expectations! Extremely sturdy and a nice weight that feels good in your hands! Super Sharp! The curved scissors alone are worth the cost in itself. It is so nice to be able to cut around our Shih tzus eyes without fear of blinding them! The curve is also perfect for attaining a nice round cut on the Shih Tzu's head. The set comes in the perfect carrying case with a slot for each piece. Lastly....purchasing the colored set because it was so pretty seemed a bit silly at the time. I realized beyond the beauty, it makes them impossible to mix up with other scissors! The ONLY reason I did not give this set a full stars was an issue with the thinning sheers. There was a tiny bend in one side that kept them from closing completely. If you find this...don't flip out! Use the little tool provided to loosen the screw, lay the bent leg on a flat surface (inside of sheers facing down) and apply a small bit of pressure on the bend. Don't over tighten as you could strip the screw easily.

I was exited about these.... but a few issues.1st, the finger holes are too small for a normal person to use. If you have small hands... maybe, but my hands hurt.2nd, Quality of cut was poor. The Curved and straight scissors cut paper ok... but hair.. not so much. The thinning shears.... did nothing... completely miss on those.Ended up returning them. I wanted to like these but in the end.... not the quality I was looking for.

I was concerned that for the price, these would be inferior quality. After using them several times, I look forward to getting my Shih Tzu! He gets so nervous with the clippers near his face and paws that these really come in handy. I especially love the curved one. Thought I wouldn't use it, but it's my fave to get up close to his eyes and his runny nose! They come with a nice case and are adjustable. They're also plenty sharp. You won't be sorry with this purchase!(I tied the adjusting tool to the zipper so it wouldn't get lost.)

These are aesthetically beautiful & so far have proved to be durable while dog grooming. You can easily loosen or tighten the blades with a small tool that's included (my old pair had a knob that eventually became stripped and would cause the whole shear to fall apart) so this change is nice! I would definitely recommend & for the price you can not beat it!

We raise Australian Shepherds and Kerry Blue Terriers, so while I am not a professional groomer, I have a good deal of dog experience. These are very sharp, smooth, and work well. I am sure we could buy "higher end" at a much heftier price... but WHY? Not only are these sharp and smooth, they come in a nice case... as a bonus, they are PRETTY too!Very nice for the price!

I bought this set to groom my Shih Tzu. Although I like the set in general, the thinning shear's are HORRIBLE!!! I have tried everything...loosening them, tightening them to no avail! They just keep jamming and sticking and I can't even use them. Very disappointed, as they are needed in the grooming process. Personally, I feel the company should send me a new pair that WORKS! UPDATE The company sent me a new pair of Thinning shears and they work great! Thanks for standing behind your product

I got these for at home use for dog groomingThey are very nice and durableDo not know what circular item is for?They should last a ling time holding up well

I am a hairstylist by trade and I have to say that I am very pleased with the performance of these scissors. Would highly recommend.
