Exactly what I wanted
I am a fan of MT, and have bought different items several times because of military issues, such as ruck bags and sleep bags. Well, come to this survival flying sheet, to be honest, the price wont stop me, coz I am 100% sure it must be worth it.Yes, it is a beast. super fabric and it is fully equipped with strong steel poles and military webbing belt system.!!!!!!! and it uses the same materials as the army modular sleeping system's BIVY cover I bought from them . My god, I think they are trying to transfor the best quality of military issues to normal outdoor gears. That is why it is worth the price. I highly recommend if you go for tough outdoor activities.

Not your old Shelter Half
This has a ton to love and a few things to improve on for future versions.Pros:1. It is huge - 7 feet x 6.7 Feet (old Shelter Half was 7 x 5 when combined.2. Color match is very good for current HW and normal OCPs (see pics)3. It comes with everything you need, all the poles, ropes, webbing, stakes and even a water resistant bag…I said resistant.4. Reinforced stitching and corners (see pics).5. Love the separate bags for storing everything, very convenient.Cons:1. Poles are not camouflage or green or tan or brown, they are a light grey, but at least mostly non-reflective. I wouldn’t use them in most tactical scenarios, but great for camping.2. It is a little heavy, similar to the 11 pound SH, this is 12 pounds in the bag.3. Not fully waterproof, it even says in the instructions on the inside (waterproof in light rain), not downpours…I know SHs weren’t really waterproof either, definitely recommend the poncho combination.4. No detailed instructions for all the build options, just some pictures. I know how to use all these pieces, but a video walk through on line or a written set of instructions. Will update more once I get in out in the weather.
