Q: can i use this under my gas fire pit on top of a glass table

This is how I used the mat for, but just to be on safe side I put a ceramic tile first than mat than fire pit

Q: Does the material contain fiberglass? Can children play on this mat as they do without getting all itchy afterwards?

No this is not itchy at all. No Fiberglass in the construction from what I can see.

Q: Would this work under a heat pump tumble dryer as a fire retardant sheet?

I wouldn’t risk it. I used it for a bbq and it burnt the floor underneath within minutes

Q: Could I use this to protect my table when using a camping stove?

I used it to try and protect the grass under a bbq which was 12" off the ground - it didn't work, although the grass didn't catch fire or scorch it did dry up and die, so personally I would not recommend it. I'm not convinced it provides any heat protection.
