so worth it!!!!!!! I think they can do better with packaging; I think it would have avoided them from breaking, but still great sizes and overall great stones, different variety, will buy again!

As many others have said, they were much smaller than I had hoped. I feel that they should consider selling these in two price points. Larger sizes in a box of say 10 and charge slightly more, then a second option for smaller pieces in a box of 20 or so for less. I got a box of of 24 very small pieces, they were at least beautiful and nicely packaged. However I had hoped to receive at least ONE larger piece considering it was a bulk package. The largest piece I received was only about 1 square inch. I know they say that these will vary but I feel that they should display the packages of the much smaller pieces and then if someone ends up with a larger one it is just a nice surprise instead of a huge let down. I still gave it 4 stars because they do state in the product description that you could end up with a varying number of stones.

My 1 lb. Box had 21 black tourmaline pieces, but as you can see most were about 1.25 inch and none was larger than 1.5 inches. The product photos should better reflect contents, though they do show different box compositions, the stones in the hand are much larger than those in my petite hand. I would have been 5 star happy if there were fewer small stones and more medium size. Since they were begging for 5 star reviews, Rock Paradise should have figured that more customers would be satisfied if they could depend on a certain variety of stone sizes, rather than risk disappointment from those who did not get what they hoped for. At any rate, stone's were safely packed, and appear genuine with appropriate tourmaline crystal formation without white matrix...just a big collection of small raw stones. No doubt it would be more costly to buy individual small sample stones, so this is still a good value. Maybe the universe is providing me plenty of protection.

Black tourmaline is a must have for me. It is the one stone that I have found physically repels, shall we say, “low vibrational” people. Some of these have inclusions of mica which are rumored to return ill-wishing to the sender. I haven’t personally seen anyone give me a dirty look and then trip and fall, but I will update my review if I do ;). These pieces are perfect for gridding, wire-wrapping, and placing everywhere. I always sleep with one under my pillow as well. And my dog, as you can see in the pic, immediately was drawn to them, so he also has a piece attached to his collar. The little crumbles at the bottom of the box are useful too—I add them to a spray bottle with some Himalayan pink salt and florida water for a protective house spray. I have now ordered two boxes and I am so grateful for the value and quality.

I can never be sure about purchasing stones and crystals online because you never know what you’re going to get. But these are perfect sized tourmalines, not too big or small and there are lots of them in this box. Very nicely packaged, each individually hand wrapped with a thick layer of cushion underneath. They are tourmaline so a couple of them chipped on the trip here but that is of no fault of the seller. I have a use for every chip and dust that comes off of them.

Disappointed with this purchase. The pieces are much too small (I had 31 chunks in my box), and literally every single piece I was sent has so much mica that you would think this is a brown stone, it should be black and glossy.I do not recommend buying tourmaline from this company.

There was a little less Tourmaline than I expected because the bottom was so heavily packed with newspaper. I really didn't like that it came with a borderline threatening two sided note about good reviews. I'm happy to volunteer up great reviews, but not by force. Also since these rocks are often touted to be energy cleaners, it didn't set a good tone, and could be really offputting. Overall I am very pleased with the rocks themselves, they are beautiful. Mine were much smaller than pictured. Black tourmaline is very fragile, so I am very careful with them.
