Looks like a space mask, but works great.
I have a full mustache and beard. When we went on vacation last year I was very frustrated because I could not get my old style snorkel mask to seal and was continually getting seawater in my nose. This mask solved my problem. I did trim my beard before using it, but I didn't have to shave. I bought two similar products, one for me and one for my wife. She is a reluctant snorkeler and she mentioned that she really liked to be able to put this on while on shore and not have to remove it. We both liked the mask. We were asked several times where we got our masks. We went on a snorkel tour and brought these along. The boat captain referred to them as space masks, but we didn't care because they worked so well. If you stay on the surface when you snorkel you will love, love, love this product. The visibility is better than with a regular mask. If you do get any leakage all you have to do is hold your head up and the water drains out of the bottom of the mask. Once I got everything adjusted correctly I had very little or no leakage. If you like to dive, there are two drawbacks to the mask; the first is that there is a lot of air in the mask, so it makes it harder to dive, the second, you can't clear your ears as you can't pinch your nose. Deep diving would be uncomfortable as the pressure difference would cause issues.

Hoping the quality of the mask exceeds the quality of its user documentation.
We used the mask for scalloping in FL. It was effective and the wide field of view aided in the spotting of scallops. I have a few observations regarding the Description page that was included with the mask. 1) Need to include in the Preparation section that the mask is shipped with a plastic covering over the upper portion of the mask. We did not notice this until troubleshooting distortion in the viewing. 2) The Caution section, which as labeled indicates the information contained herein is important - should not have spelling errors. The section has 2 miss-spellings - "usr" should be "use" and "withough" should be "without". 3) The Useing section - "Using" is not a word (in English) - either spell it "using" or change to "usage". 4) The Carefuly section - "Carefuly" should be spelled "Carefully". Checking The Seal section has two miss-spellings - Breath and breath should both be "breathe". Additionally please note that at the bottom of your Description page - "Easily Breath" - should be "Easily Breathe". 5) Also at the bottom of your description page - "Dry Top Snokel" should be spelled "Dry Top Snorkel". While you are manufacturing your product in China, perhaps the documentation should remain in Country...or update the contract to get the Chinese to use a spell checker. This is a product that allows humans to breathe under-water... proper spelling of the instructions is important.

Snorkeling At It's Best
My wife and I enjoy shallow water snorkeling and decided to replace our traditional goggles with attached snorkel tube for a recent trip to Aruba. I was intrigued by this new design and we decided to purchase them for our trip.We used it twice and the mask performed beyond all expectations. There are many aspects of it that we loved. The head strap is a stretchable fabric that was easier for us to put on than the typical rubber strap and much easier on our hair. The system for tightening it is simple but much easier for us to use than the one that has you line up rubber bumps on one strap with spaces on the matching strap. It seems to hold much better. Attaching the snorkel to the mask often involves readjustment and the Octobermoon snorkel just clips into the mask and stays put.You don't have the snorkel inserted directly into your mouth so the chance of swallowing sea water is greatly reduced. It always took my wife some time to get used to the measured breathing that the traditional snorkel requires but she was instantly comfortable with this one.We had no problems with any fogging on the face mask. The large viewing surface is really amazing compared to what we had with our goggles. The workmanship seems of very high quality and we felt the price was very reasonable.A number of people questioned us about the snorkel and one gentleman took a picture as he was planning to order one of his own.In our opinion , Octobermoon has produced an amazing new product that we'll use often.

Worked great until the snorkel broke -- very flimsy
The mask and snorkel worked great initially. I've used it about 4 times. The vision is clear and the breathing is tremendous. However, about a week ago I heard something snap on the snorkel and it seems a clip on it broke. I thought no problem as the snorkel still seemed to fit the mask. However when I useed it today, I had water come in through the area where the snorkel connects to the mask. So its useless now unless I can get a replacement snorkel. So the engineering and concept is great, but the construction on this particular brand is horrible.
