This book states that the hyena is a type of cat. This is false. Hyenas are more closely related to the cat family than the dog family, but it is neither. It is in its own family, Hyaenidae.

Bought for our son who is 3 and he loves looking at the pictures, this book is on our night time schedule every night I just wish they had better descriptions for animals

My son has really been into animals lately so I this book for his 7th birthday. He loved is so much that he didn’t want to put it down and completed it in one weekend. This book has so much information, great pictures, and was fun to read! He goes back to it often when he had a question about an animal or it’s habitat, and just for fun. My son came across some challenging words a few times so we sat and read together so that I could assist when needed. Kid and parent approved!

Can't really add to what other reviewers have covered in detail. Can only say my 8-year old great granddaughter loved it as did her parents. Very informative and easy to grasp the concepts presented. A great addition to her educational library. Would definitely buy again.

Great for my granddaughter

I purchased this for my granddaughter's birthday. She really liked it. The book includes information on different areas and habitat animals come from.
