The Renaissance of a Casio watch! I have about 100+ watches, automatics, solar power, ,"Eco drive" ( whatever that means), battery powered, G Shock, Baby G, Mini G, etc. etc. etc. at first, I was skeptical of this uncluttered watch. The simplicity begs one to ask " why only now", I wore the watch, and lo and behold I asked myself " what watch?" , the watch is so light and right ( everything) it seemed to have coalesced with the skin of my wrist. It's the first time I did not feel I was wearing a watch, but in fact, I was. The quality, comfort, convenience, functionality and craftsmanship is almost miraculous. I have a bunch of Swatch watches, ranging from the diver, automatics, and chronographs to the simplest all black design with day and date, believe it or not this watch runs circles around my Swatches in comfort, legibility and functionality . True to form, Casio s quality is renowned, and this watch, simple, solid and yet built form someone who wants a watch, but is not constantly reminded of wearing one. Just like the story of Goldilocks and the three bears, this watch is... "Just right" ( and light). Like the Movado with its iconic "dot", this too should be exhibited at the MOMA, for it's all black simplicity, it's like staring at the abyss. I bought two for backup.
