I am well pleased with this machine. Many have said the bag is too small. I believed my yard had a problem with thatch and it did. Not surprisingly, the bag fueled quickly. I removed the bag. I changed to the scarifier blade and it released more thatch. The machine does an excellent job, and I expect to have a healthier lawn this year.

You'll be lucky if it lasts a season.

The bag was a waste of time. But other than having to rack, worked as described.

This unit measures, wheel to wheel, 19 inches deep, 21 inches wide, and 14 inches tall. It weighs 29 lbs without the included bagger attachment. It came packed well, with the catch bag assembly, two rotating heads, one for scarifying (aerating), and one for dethatching (raking). There is also included an allen wrench for changing out the rotating heads. The scarifier head is the one that comes already in the unit. This is a corded unit not rechargeable. The push handle assembly is a two-piece design that makes the unit easily stowable. There is a built in handle on the top, making it easy to carry. I tried both of the rotating heads. The blade head worked well in making slits in the top of the ground and cutting roots. The rake head worked well in actually reaching into the grass to pull out the thatch. When using the blade attachment you really don’t need the catch bag, as it mainly just cuts and doesn’t accumulate much in the way of clippings. The rake on the other hand definitely worked well with the bag. There are considerable clippings in the form of the thatch being pulled out. The unit is not hard to push as the head rotates in the direction of pulling the unit along through the grass. There is also a rotating height adjustment knob so you can set the rotating head at the preferred height as well as compensate for wear on the blades or rake. This is a very nice looking unit and it’s fairly easy to use. My only complaint is that the body assembly is almost completely plastic. They have made some reinforcements, but I did notice that the wheels had a fair amount of flex in them. For light grass on lots of 1/4-1/3 acre or less, which is what I have, it should work fine.The cord on this item is only about 18" long. You'll need at least a 12 amp extension cord, which is not included, to use this item.Made in China. Expensive at the current listed price of 170.

Bought this, got it in a few days later. Got to work on my yard. Was able to half my yard before it broke, the blade doesn't spin. Trying to get ahold of customer service with 0 response. Maybe I got a bad machine. It happens. Would like to replace. If not then I'd like to get a refund.

Great machine for the money

I received this machine and wondered why I had sand everywhere. I received a used equipment with dirt and sand still in the wheels all over in the box piece is missing. Basket looks new and a few random parts look repackaged but the core function is worthless since no idea the condition or how long this was used. Returning!! Nothing was stated nor did I see any where this was used or refurbished product, expected a new product. See photos

This does what it says and for the price I think it's ok but not great. It shares most of it's flaws with other machines like this. 1st the bag is way too small, I have a 300 sq ft yard and I had to empty the bin 3 times... 2nd it just feels flimsy, and it feels like it's going to shake apart (but it won't) and finally the cord feels a little loose and makes you want to tie the cords so they don't fall apart. If this is in your budget it should function fine, but I would see about getting one of these with a little better construction (that might take some looking). I can't say I fully recommend this one but I won't say run away either...
