Yes,it has Lipo low voltage cut-off.

Anyone has a manual? It was not included in the delivered package. I need to know functions of switches, which cable is battery, which is motor, etc

At this price there is no manual. You have to guess and figure it out. But is pretty obvious once you see the silkscreening on the board but they are covered up by the wires.

Do these controllers have any braking function? The ones I got do not.

They should, it is selectble by the switch attached to the board. But their quality control is hit or miss. So I wouldn't be surprised if you got a defective one.

whats a good servo for this esc?

It runs with a brushed motor but not a servo.
